I know about birthdays, what about graduation?

Hope I posted this in the right forum, I'm still sort of a newbie around here

Well, I know all about stopping by to get a sticker/pin when it's your birthday... but what about other special days?

We're celebrating my graduation from college (long overdue, I'm a non-trad student, obviously! LOL) with our first ever family trip to Disney. So is there some other sort of "I'm special today" sticker available, or would it be tacky to make and bring my own?

I don't think there's a ribbon or pin that WDW gives out, but I wouldn't hesitate to make my own.

We've seen a lot of people with different celebratory badges or shirts on and they gets lots of attention from other guests, CM's and occasionally the characters.

BTW- congratulations.....that is a HUGE acheivement...go on girl!

I am also VERY interested in finding out about graduation "things to do" in DW. I hope someone come sup with some good ideas. My DH is graduating & we are going to DW to celebrate but I wanted to make it extra special with suprises & the like...

I think the only other "official" buttons are those for newlyweds. However that doesn't mean that you can't make your own and have fun with them. Make sure you tell your servers at meals about it as well. They may not do anything, but there is always the chance they do.

A friend of mine goes to Disney all the time and when she received her Masters she wore a congratulations button. I assume she got this in the parks, however, I can't be 100% sure.

When we were down this past May for my Birthday, in MK when I got my birthday button they gave my boyfriend a button also. I can't remember what it said (definately not Happy Birthday). Something along the lines of Congratulations or something like that. They also have graduation pins that you can purchase.
