We are staying off-site at the Travelodge Anaheim on Ball St. No, it didnt cover hotel or air fare. We live only about 6 hours (5 if you drive like me ) So it wont take us long to get there. I'm trying to convince DH to take an extra day so we can sight see in LA - Specifically LA Ink (High Voltage Tattoo). Last time we went we got to see West Coast Choppers... too bad Jesse James wasnt there! No kids for us so we go and do "grown up" stuff... and then the child in us comes out at DL!

Takes us about 5 hours to get there too.....LOL We must drive very similarly. LOL We are in the Bay Area, Suisun City to be specific. We had passes to Monterey Bay Aquarium but we let them expire and got AP's to DL instead. LOL

I too won a trip with tickets to DL back when California adventure just opened it was great and very exciting to win the trip from a local Fox TV station in Cnetral Cali. We stayed at the DLH and had a blast with 3 day park hoppers at the time and rode on a ride that some people do not know ever was there because it is no longer (us disney fans knew about the ride)
Super Star Limo......ugg!!!.......so glad that they replaced that with Monsters INC....cute ride and I am what some would say too old for that ride but I love it anyhow!

To my surprise I had FED-EX show up at my door in January of 2006 with a envelope and when I tore open the envelope I found a letter from McDonalds Sweepstakes saying that I had won a trip for a family of 4 for 5 nights at the WDW resort!!! I was shocked and amazed because I never though anyone ever really won anything from Mcdonalds and to think I almost did not enter it at all.....I had bought a salad at McDonalds and it had a game piece on the top that I ws to take and enter the code online for a chance to win and I believe I did that in Oct 2005 and when I entered the number online I even said to myself what a waste of time no one ever wins these things and of course not me...plus we were going to be staying in the GC in January 06 for our 1st year wedding ann so I thought what are the chaces I would do that and win another trip to even better Florida WDW!

We were put up in the BWV in a 1 bedroom and it was the best time of my life!
I love DL but I am sooooooooooooooo hooked on WDW I could move there.............. well now we have to become DVC members asap!


Anyhow sorry for my rambles but I just wanted to say congrats it is so over the top to win something like this for Disney!!!
