ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Have you seen it? did you know he and she were the kids in the story? It took me awhile to figure that out.

Yes I figured it out right away. I love that movie.

Love that movie! I knew right away it was them and it made it even more special to realize he was telling her the story of their life together.

My DH, who spends most of his time watching hideous SciFi B-movies or tough guy action movies, was actually teary eyed watching this. He thought it was one of the best movies he had seen in years(to which I reminded him if he let ME have the remote, he would see more quality and less, well, not so quality movies:lmao: )

Love the book! The movie was good, the actors did a great job but the ending isn't like that in the book. There is a second book "The Wedding" that features Noah. That is great too.

It's not often that I like the movie better than the book but in this case, the movie wins.

Loved the movie even though it totally broke my heart. I was a weepy puddle of a mess.

It's been so long since I've seen the movie that I don't remember if I figured it out or not. I don't think I did. I actually tried reading the book several times before the movie came out, and I couldn't get into it.

I really love the movie, though. I think Ryan Gosling is an incredible actor.

I haven't read the book yet, but love the movie. It actually took me a while to warm up to the idea of sitting through it, but once I did it quickly became a favorite. I didn't realize that it was in fact Noah reading to Allie until the part after the children came to visit. I was crying my eyes out when it dawned on me that he was retelling their story.

I loved the book and the movie. Ryan Gosling is one of my favorites.

Personally, I think Nicholas Sparks' stuff translates better to movies than books.

And I think just the opposite, thankfully there are both to enjoy. I like his books way better than his movies.

LOL... and I've never been able to get through an entire NS book!

I loved the book and the movie. Ryan Gosling is one of my favorites.

:thumbsup2 This.

I have never cried harder during a movie than this one. Every time I watch, I cry. The first time I watched, I sobbed. I can control that now.;)
Love the story and the love shared between the 2 of them.

I love both the movie and the book. I remember seeing it in the theater by myself and bawling my eyes out, at least I was not the only one though. I knew fairly early on that it was Noah telling their story to Allie but I do not remember how I knew.

I loved the book AND the movie!

I saw an interview with Nicholas Sparks once and he said it is based on the story of his grandparents. Mostly the real story with a little artistic license thrown in. :)

I love that movie, I am the type of person that will watch the movie and THEN go read the book b/c the book is always better and now I have a visual of the characters in my head, but this was the first and only movie that was better than the book IMHO. LoL
