I just want a cute backpack!!!!

Is that too much to ask? I want to get a new cute backpack for our upcoming vacation. I've been looking in stores and online and finally found one at QVC.com, it's a backpack from The Sak. I got all excited and clicked on add to cart, then the message comes up, waitlist. I've been waiting, but nothing so far, it's still not available. It must be a QVC exclusive because I can't find it anywhere else that I've looked, not even on The Sak's own site.

I just want a cute backpack!!!!! Any suggestions?

Yeah, I looked. There is a second choice that I can order and they have in stock, but I prefer the one from QVC.com because the flap has a buckle. I think I'm just going to order my second choice from The Sak.com and cancel QVC's order.

It's too late to get anything from eBay, I'm afraid it wouldn't get here on time.

I know that "waitlist" on QVC says something like "up to 45 days"...but my experience with that has always been allot shorter...never 45 days...

When do you leave, is it really soon...if not go for the waitlist and see what happens....

In the meantime keep looking for something else as cute as that one from THE SAK (btw: I love all the SAK items on QVC)...and it just may surprise you and be HERE sooner than later....

We leave next week. I placed the order on 5/4. My experience with QVC on waitlist items has been like yours, it never takes as long as they say it will. I decided to cancel my order and ordered a different backpack from The Sak. I ordered directly from TheSak.com because they have the color I want.

Vera Bradley's bags are really cute. I was looking for a neutral color this time.
