Hey guys tell me if you think this is such a cool surprise. We were at CBR from 4-5-04 - 4-10-04 for our honeymoon. Now I know we were there for 6 days, but the 1st day and last day are really only partial since you are getting in from your flight and leaving to go back home. So we did AK for the 1st half day and so on..DW really wanted to see WL and we just didnt' have time. I told her that the next time we come we will stay at WL. Well not even a week after we got back, we decided to take one more trip and this time it's in December.
In fact it's Dec 4-10. That is 7 days of pure magic and holliday fun at Disney. So about a week or so ago, we booked our package deal. Now we have until Oct to pay for this. That way it will give us time to put money towards our trip every time we get paid.
On 5-1-04 after the big watch for when the MMVMCP tickets went on sale, I ordered them. Woohoo
We cannot wait. That is one thing down. Last night we booked and paid for the airline. Good thing to, cause last week they were 10.00 cheaper. And who knows if they will go up, espically the way gas prices are going up...geez... So that is 2 things out of the way. The 3rd being putting the deposit down on our trip.
Now the surprise. When we talking about this trip and talking with the agent, we decided to stay at POR. Well I told DW that I will go ahead and take care of everything and not to worry. She said fine. So I emailed the agent and even spoke with her on the phone. I asked how much it would be to stay at WL. Well it was a 400.00 difference. So I decided that since DW really wanted to at least see the resort and we didn't get to and I promised her that the next time we come to WDW we will stay there, as we were both thinking that we would come back in like a year or 2, I booked us at the WL.
When I came home tonight she said that she hopes that the renivations of POR doesn't put a damper on us staying there. I kind of smiled and said "I guess I should go ahead and tell you" she said "what" and I said "we are not staying there. We are staying at WL". Her jaw almost hit the floor. We are both so excited.
So guys, being that this is our 1 month annv. of our wedding...did I do a good thing or what would you have done? I really wanted to wait until we got into Orlando, but hey it's alright, as it is my present to her. So let me know what you think or if you have done any "Special" things for that special someone.
