i just looked at today's temperature at WDW!!!

today's expected high in WDW is 97 degrees!!!.....97 degrees!!!!.....97 degrees...

and of course they don't give the humidity but my guess would be very close to 100%....

oh my.....97 degrees????.....that is HOT....HOT....really really HOT......

i don't remember it ever being 97 degrees when we've been there and we always go this time of year....95 is the hottest we've experienced there...although with the humidity it feels like about 195......

97.....oh my.......and i say that as someone who lives in a very hot and humid climate.......but i don't usually march around in the heat of the day....i guess i'm kind of psychotic to be going there this time of year..

well your post got a big laugh out of me.......although i can live with 32.....according to the WDW site, today is 97, which is about 36 degrees....that's a bit beyond my abilities.....especially when combined with 94% humidity....

i wonder if i can borrow the astronauts airconditioned space suits....

I think the various weather sites show the forecast temperatures as those 'In the Shade' as per most uk forecasts. However, I suspect the WDW sensor might be out in the Sun!

When I was there in April 2003 a similar issue occured. Granted the weather channel was documenting it as the warmest April since whenever with daily temps from 29-32, the parks were showing 100 degree (38c).

Whatever was the right one Im not sure but it was very hot indeed!

i think you're right.....and in animal kingdom when it's 100 degrees in the rest of the parks, it feels about 120 in AK....

We went May last year. A couple of days it reached about 34c which is hot for May. As you all mentioned its the humidity that makes it feel double that.

we have also had to put on gloves,jumpers and coats but that was at christmas but then back to shorts and t shirt next day mad the weather at that time of year

One summer, one VERY hot summer, we drove to Disneyworld from New Jersey. The temperatures went up and up as we drove south, I remember it being 102 degrees and sort of going , whoa, this is different, when we got to WDW, we went to EPCOT. It was 103 degrees there and, bizarrely (sp), very empty (go figure!!) It was so hot that we stopped by the restaurant at Canada where some very nice Canadian employee invited us in - needless to say, we ate there that night, we appreciated the thoughtfulness so much! It's dreadful in Florida this time of year, and I can say that cause we're going to be arriving next Saturday, the 16th! The reason being it's when the grandkids are off school, and since they're a "blended" family, the boys live with their mom in a different school district, they don't get spring breaks or winter breaks at the same time or else that's when we'd be going, NOT in July!!

The car was showing 99f when we left on Wednesday and with the heat index it felt like nearly 110f!!!! Thankfully everywhere has air con so can at least escape the heat every now and then.
