Anyone who has never been to Disney before probably has NO IDEA that you shouldn't lock strollers, or that CMs move them.

most likely it wasnt taken at all. the CM's move the carriages. they dont just move the carriages around the same lot, they will move them to other lots. we found this happens in fantasy land no matter where we leave the stroller.so now we just leave it in the area by its a small world. too many times weve come out of philharmagic or peter pan and not found our stroller. its annoying, but it happens.

in fact when my brother worked for disney he said there were strollers left there every night. my guess, those are the people who thought their stroller was stolen.

I'm not surprised that this is the case sometimes. Maybe people should mark their stroller with a luggage tag ID with cellphone or resort # just in case. If your stroller can't be found after searching nearby--there's a chance it will show up later and you can be contacted.

I plan on chaining my front wheels together so no one will take my stroller while at DLR in November. A few people have had theirs taken while there. More often than not, people will have items stolen from their stroller. It is just a precautionary measure.

We have gone to DL and DCA every 2 or 3 weekends for the last 3.5 years with a stroller and we have never had any issues. We have 5 different strollers, from a Volo to Graco to Doubles Graco and Jane to Quinny Buzz - all price ranges. They've never been messed with or moved badly. I don't know if it's because people park their strollers better there, but the CMs don't have to do anywhere near the stroller patrol that you see in WDW, except at Plyahouse Disney Live. (We usually take either of our Gracos when we go there.)

I've never seen locked strollers at DLR.

I really think people are locking them not to have them moved. I used a stroller for about 6 yrs and never had a problem. I know I have had a hard time tracking down my stroller once it was moved, but never stolen. I did one time take a stroller by mistake. We just left Little Mermaid show and was going to the Great movie ride. My family ran ahead of me and I grabbed the stroller and ran over to them. When I parked the stroller I was mad because my son's jacket was missing, when I went to take the rest of the stuff out I realized it wasn't my stroller.:scared1: I ran it back to the parking for Little Mermaid and I grabbed my stroller and ran out of there:lmao: I couldn't believe I did that.

So back to the post I know I hate when I have to look for my stroller once it is moved and I heard people complain so maybe that is why they are locking them now. I really hope people are not stealing them.

We got a stroller at a yard sale for $1. it is not an umbrella stroller either, but is lightweight and has a basket in the back.

We do leave things in the stroller, but we always have things that wouldn't upset us too badly if they were stollen.....older jackets or sweatshirts, a thrift store bag with sandwiches or snacks, that sort of thing.

If we don't want it stolen, we carry it with us in a backpack.

I don't understand why anyone would take expensive items and not keep them on their person at all times.
