That one sounds like a tough little booger. Good luck in getting rid of it.
I wonder if anyone here uses those plug in things that scare the mice away (sends out supersonic noises that hurt the mice's ears). I wonder if they actually work?
We live on a working farm and always get quite a few families of mice every year at this time. We tried those electronic devices & I can't say it even reduced the number - let alone kept them out! We were told it should work for the water bugs, too. (The exterminator said they were really just large roaches - YUCK! I'm sorry, anything that's 2 - 3 inches long is gross by ANY name, but I sure felt better calling them water bugs!) It didn't.
The only thing the electronic devices ever did was drive our poor guinea pig nuts! We had forgotten about them and took in someone's guinea pig. We just couldn't understand why it was so timid & shrieked at the oddest times. I felt awful when I remembered about it! It was still somewhat timid & tended to shriek, but what can you expect after such an awful 1st few months!
