I just experienced my first Krispy Kreme

Better make that TWO Krispy Kremes. It was a deep fried taste of heaven! Too bad there is not one near me. Then again, maybe that's a good thing.

I am definitely an impulse buyer! I was driving past and saw the red light on. Ended up making a u-turn on a busy street just to get these donuts. They were worth it, too. Yum.

They are yummy and I broke my diet to have one at wdw, and it was worth it thank goodness there aren't any around here

The Catholic school in Rome, NY uses them as a fund raiser. A group drives 2.5 hours early in the morning to pick them up in Rochester and then brings them back to sell locally. They go quick!

I've heard about Krispy Cremes for a while now. I finally tried one. They are good but.......we have a local bakery, "L&M"( in Riverside, NJ) and let's just say they "cream" KC in the doughnut department. L&M doughnuts are SO good that people who have moved from the area crave them. We have friends in AZ and NC who overdose on them when they come back for a visit. They always get their "fix" to take back home with them.

Krispy Kreme donuts taste soooo good when you heat them up in the microwave for like 15 seconds and the frosting is all melty.. ahhh heaven!

I just love Krispy Kreme, but only when they're hot. I'll drive out of my way, but if the lights not on, I don't buy.

kasar: They sell at various locations, but one for sure is at Tubbi's in the Dolphin.

I used to have to drive 4 hours to get my Krispy Kremes but luckily they opened a store about 15 minutes away from my house about a year ago.

On one of my 4 hour treks I took orders for a few other people and by the time I knew it I bought about 30 dozen. The truck sure did smell good on the way home.

I got an original glazed donut, aren't they the only ones you can get hot? Or at least guaranteed when the "hot now" sign is lit?
