Can ashes (cremated remains) be scattered at/near WDW?

I know more than one person who might want to have this done.

Has anyone heard of this being done?

I doubt you could do this at WDW, but maybe close by.

I mean, there are ways to do it without the consent of WDW, but I assume it is illegal.

I doubt Disney condones, but I am sure it's been done, albeit discrettly.

My friends always laugh and say that they are going to take a little bit of my ashes every 6 motnhs and spread them over different favorite areas of WDW.

I think they are just using me to get a trip every 6 months!

This is a very common desire (especially around here).

I have always wanted mine scattered somewhere at WDW, and I think I know a place it could be done discreetly. Of course, with increased security these days, DH might just get caught, even though it's in a remote area. But knowing him, he'll try anyway.
