We got a blue one like this last year at our local grocery store for $3.99. (For those of you in/near Michigan, it was Meijer.) We used it for our August trip and didn't like it. Between me and 2 kids we were fighting over it, it ran out fast or didn't stay cold enough, and we REALLY needed a fan!! We were walking behind a guy with the bigger Misty Mate slung over his back (with the insulated bag and fan on it) and I was SO jealous!!

You can mist yourself all you want, but it's going to just sit on your skin like the sweat, which isn't evaporating, either. Fans, people, FANS!!! Don't forget your fans!!

It's so humid down here, so I need a fan to help the moisture evaporate! Though these do look neat! I got some Disney fans with the light-up center at Big Lots last night. They are going in Easter baskets, but when they put them down I'll hide them for our next Disney trip.

That's exactly what I did last year. They went into the easter basket and we take them everywhere. People love how they light up.
