I have the rotation menu for Boma if anyone is interested...

Bumping in case anyone else is looking for a menu.

Just wanted to let everyone know, we just ate at Boma on Wednesday, 10/22, and the ribs were there! The menu stated above wasn't exactly the same - for example, they did have the chicken pepper pot stew - but the main dishes were the same.

There is so much to eat at Boma we have always enjoyed our meal. You can drive yourself crazy trying to match the menu to the days just to get one or two specific items. IMHO, you should just forget the menu and go and enjoy.

Hi there- I remember a thread that had the rotation of what Boma offers each night and I can't find it using the search feature. Does anyone have the list of what Boma has each night that they could pls post?

Much appreciated!!

I know Wed & Sat are usually the same, Sunday is chef's choice. I go on Wed or Sat since I love the cuirried chicken stew (or whatever the official name is!) on the soup pod. Shortribs (just ok), nut-crusted salmon fillet, durban spiced chicken, and carved sirloin (no more prime rib) come to mind for that rotation. Sorry, don't remember other dishes.

Hi all

Just trying to choose my very last dinner of the trip. We thought we would revisit either Boma or Trails End as we enjoyed them both last year. I am swinging more to Trails End BUT didn't get to try the Boma Curried Chicken Coconut soup (or something like that!!) last time that I hear so much about in reviews. Is it served every night - I wouldn't want to go there and then miss is again.

Actually, does anyone remember what night they serve ribs also? I'm sure the food rotation is on here somewhere but I can't find it (but I am at work and daren't spend too much time looking!)!!!

Thanks for any help you can give! :thumbsup2

Okay, this is the rotation I've seen. It mostly describes what I saw on the buffet at my two dinners there about a year ago, but a few minor changes here and there are always possible.

Mrsmom---I don't see Sunday in the rotation, this is the day we were planning to go--is it in the rotation? Thanks

I wouldn't worry about seeing Sunday in the rotation. I think that the list is great, but it is about 5 years old, and it's very possible that the actual rotation is slightly different now. I know for sure that they don't serve prime rib anymore.

I'd look to the list as it was originally intended by Mrsmom when she posted, a great general guideline, but not the actual exact rotation.

I read it's whatever the chef wants to fix that day.

Yes, I'd like to know what they have replaced it with (we will be there on a Tuesday)--or is African flank steak the only beef option. We like salmon, but we liked prime rib too! Please tell me they still have Prime Rib at chef Mickey's!

Bumping this up for a friend

you can bump it up but we were there 3 weeks ago on a monday and the menu was completely different...there were pork ribs and a stew not listed...this thread is out of date...i don't want anyone to be dissapointed...

Though the post is newer, this list is from 2004, so I agree that it's likely that it is a bit out of date.

OP - please don't count on this list being accurate. It may have been accurate at one point, but is subject to change at any time. We are just back from a trip to AKL, and the list is at least inaccurate in one respect. They had a delicious mushroom soup on a Thursday, which is not listed at all.
