I have the rotation menu for Boma if anyone is interested...

Well I think Im pretty much covered in the Boma department. I have 2 ADRs for Boma now one on a Monday (the 11th) and one on a Tuesday (the 5th). So either way, Im gonna be eating different foods both days. I'll give a report when I get back.

What was different? As long as they have the following Im good! :thumbsup2
Rotisserie
Whole Spiced Chicken
Corn on the Cobb with Honey Butter
Crusted Prime Rib
Coca Cola Pork Loin

Did you happen to try the Potato Bacon soup?

No pork loin when I went. Yes I did try the potato soup and it wan amazing.

I sure hope that salmon is still on the menu when we're there on Tues Aug 19---we're a BIG salmon family (from dnephew2 all the way up)

It means "whatever is left over from the rest of the week" ;)

Where is this information from? Do you mean they save up leftovers and serve on Sundays? Or leftover recipes surface on Sundays? Unless you know they're serving leftovers on Sunday, this seems like a kind of irresponsible thing to say.

My first dinner there was on a Sunday, and they were definitely making food in the kitchen.

It's a joke, hence the winkie. Sheesh.

I'm quite sure they're not scraping stuff from the bottom of the pans and saving it up in a big old jar to put back out on Sunday but I wouldn't be one bit surprised if they use up whatever leftover INGREDIENTS they have to formulate the menu once a week to be more efficent... ie if one week they get an especially good deal on salmon and don't use it all on "salmon day" if it shows up on "Chef's Choice" day. That's just speculation though, like I said, it was a joke.

Yes, when I posted the Rotation I should have mentioned it was from March, which is when we got it. And as always: Everything at Disney is subject to change. :thumbsup2

Well They really dont sound that great, and I asked myself the same question so I went and searched them on the internet try this site below, hope it helps and you can find many recipes, I did not want to go to Boma blind so I am really checking out this site, And for all of you guys that are switching your ressies in hopes that they are serving a particular item I hope you dont get too upset if the rotation changes,I just stuck with my initial day!;) Please let me know if this link is not working!

The hospital I used to work at used to serve their leftovers from the week on Sunday. You can only imagine how bad food was the 2nd time bad food was cooked and heated. :lmao:

We went this past Tuesday 7/22 and I can tell you that they did not have chicken pepper pot soup, but they had an awesome crab soup instead. Also they had pork and it was AMAZING.

This is the response I received 2 weeks ago from AKL CL

Dumela! Nicki,

I called the kitchen and talked to one of our culinary team. He said
that there are 15 soups rotated over 3 days so that means the same soup
would be offered twice a week. However this far out it would be hard to
know when a particular soup would be offered since they change by 1 day
each week. They are all great though.

Ok great, this helps me out so much. I have read on some travel boards
that
Boma has different soups on different nights. So what you are saying
is
there isnt a specific night that a certain soup will be served right?

Nicki

Dumela! Nicki,

Boma does not have a printed menu but I can tell you that 6 of the 7
stations have the same items every day with a few daily features added
and then the 7th station has daily features. There is no particular day

I can tell you that the special features will be available but I can
tell you that there is never a day where there is not a great selection

of fantastic food.

Here is a rundown of the stations. This is not their physical order
down
the line nor the order they are eaten in. It is a Market Place
arrangement so guests are encouraged to browse around.

Station 1:
White Bean Hummus
Black Olive Hummus
Sun Dried Tomato Hummus
Fresh Lavosh bread
Assorted Fresh fruit

Station 2:
Field Greens wtih Signature Dressings
Pasta Salad
Watermelon Rind Salad
Kool Slaai
Avacodo, Papaya and Grapefruit Salad
Daily feature salads.

Station 3:
Daily Specials

Station 4:
Roasted Prime Rib
Rotisserie Chicken
Baked Salmon of the day
Beef and Lamb Bobotie
Cinnamon Raisin Rice
Assorted African Sauces
Daily Featured Specialties

Station 5:

Pap and Sheeba
Falafel with Yogurt Sauce
Couscous Marrakesh
Daily Feature Specials

Children's Station:

Pasta with Meatballs and Tomato Sauce

Station 6:

I hope this has helped a little,

I hope it wasn't a waste of time making my ADR for the night I did then, and hopefully the items I want to try are there when I am.
