Monique--I am a cancer survivor with young children too. I know what you are feeling. Cry, talk, laugh, pray--ask lots of questions. When I was diagnosed, my best friend did all the research for me and reported back with all the positives she could find. It was so helpful not to wade through all the scary info. Do you have someone who could do this for you?
I also truly believe the attitude "I will beat this" can help tremendously.
You will be amazed at the love people will show for you. It still makes me cry to think of who came through for me and my family.

I am so sorry. Breast cancer has touched our family too. Support was very helpful when it did. My SIL loved the local Gilda's club, it really helped her (and us.)

There is a wonder group of women who have formed a Breast Cancer support group. They can help answer some of your questions and your fears.

The words a woman fears the most. You have Breast Cancer. You don't say where you are from in MA. I have a good friend who HAD breast cancer and she went to Dana Farber. They were wonderful. Is there any way you can go to them for at least a consult?
