Say a prayer for me too. I have a ultrasound next week, Hate it since half my neck is cut out it hurts, ouch! and then the oncologist the next day. I am praying I hear good news too. I dont know if they will get my report that fast.

My best friend in the whole world was diagnosed with this 13 months ago. She was not eligible for surgery, but has been through radiation and chemo at Duke. It has not been easy.

But her last two MRIs show NO evidence of the G (i can't spell it) tumor. It does not mean that she is cured. There really is not a cure - but it does give her more time plus they will be able to reduce the chemo.

It is wonderful news, and I hope it may give you some hope.

Thank you all....still no news from my doctor so I guess we're waiting until Monday for the results. We always get a copy of the CD and try to decipher it ourselves. My DH keeps all of the images and compares them. I can't tell much from them but they're interesting to look at nonetheless.

We are excited to go trick or treating tomorrow night (we've decided to go on Saturday) so that will eat up some of the waiting time.

With all of your prayers for me how can we NOT have good news????? I'm so thankful for you all, such a wonderful group of friends all because of our love for Disney. Did I ever mention the dates of our Disney trip and how they coincide with the dates of my diagnosis and surgery? I was diagnosed on December 15th 2009 and we will drive to WDW that day this December. I had brain surgery on the 22nd of December last year and we will be driving home that day this year. I'm so glad we'll have some good memories to replace those dates with!!!

My mother received the same diagnosis last December after surgery to remove a tumor on December 11th (they weren't sure what it was until they got in there). We're also going to WDW to celebrate her one year anniversary. I hope you have as a good a time as we will!
