I have a question, can points be used...

at any of the Disneyland Hotels? Like the Grand Californian or the DisneyLand Hotel?

If so, does anyone know if they use the same amount of points, (on average) as the WDW locations?

Points can be used at Disneyland just like at any Disney/non DVC resort and the points are slightly less than non-DVC WDW resorts, but will never be as economical as DVC resorts. You will find the point schedule in your member book under Disney Collection.

You need anywhere from 19-93 points per night at the DL resorts depending on when you go and where you want to stay (plus the view you want).

We stayed at the Grand Californian a few years ago on points. It's a great hotel, very nice.

And while still pricey overall, they have lowered the points cost and are the only thing that gives you around $10 per point on this type exchange.
