I am in my fifties now but have some core WDW food memories.

Breakfast on the porch/terrace at Tony's Town Square. Mickey waffles with powdered sugar but more remember the thrill of seeing a character show up in town square and leaping out of our seats and running to see them (this was the seventies and before scheduled appearances or queues to see characters)

Fettuccini Alfredo at Alfredo's. Was so cool to see them making the pasta in that little window in the waiting area. And for me, at the time (early 80's), this was "exotic" food or at least something we didn't have at home. I loved it and still think about it.

Outdoor cafe at Chef's de France. Before they enclosed it, there was a sidewalk cafe at Chefs. I was a picky eater as a kid and a ham and cheese sandwich was what my parents could convince me to eat. I can still picture sitting there.

Also remember the original Chef Mickey's in the Village (now Disney Springs). No idea what we ate but I can picture our table in a corner.

Au Petite Cafe. We ate there a few times and it was good... when it wasn't hot outside. They had a Ham and cheese sandwich on a small baguette that came with some sort of jicama or Cole slaw on it. It was a shock the first time but it was very good.

Totally agree.. loved the lamb and couscous!! Now I know the Rose and Crown is still there but we miss eating there at lunch. They had a delicious hamburger! We are not real crazy about their dinner menu.. the menu is so limited! Marla

Yes, I forgot about lunch at Rose and Crown. I found them to be so nice. One time it started raining out, so the server brought me a cup of tea (she knew I drank Twinings) and told me "Take as long as you want since it's raining!"

Tangerine Cafe. Our family's go to was one veggie platter, one lamb platter and extra pita.

And Akershus pre-princess meal. The buffet with all the Norwegian cheeses and smoked salmon was always my favorite part.

Also, Fireworks Factory, Artist Point, Village Restaurant, the original Chef Mickey's in the Marketplace, and yes, definitely LUNCH at the Rose & Crown. I know this was a bar and not a restaurant, but I still miss The Adventurer's Club in DTD.

I miss the counter service Tucker house. Rotisserie chicken or seared salmon at a decent price. I could feed myself and two tweens for $25 back in 2009.

OMG- the Flying Fish chef's counter dinner was fantastic. I actually liked it more than Victoria and Albert's. Still enjoy Flying Fish but gosh do I wish they'd bring that back.

Trail’s End. Brisket, fried chicken, chili and Strawberry Shortcake were our favorites. It was also on the cheaper side, by Disney standards.

I wish we could go back to pre-2000 food quality and more extensive menus. I'm looking at you, Rose & Crown, on the menu!

By far I miss the original Artist Point. Would love the signature dinner service to resume. Concourse Steakhouse was another favorite.
