I always try to go in and correct my spelling after the post comes about just so I don't irritate others! Plus, I am a clerical-type person in my work and I hate to show that I can't really type!

I do the same thing!

Very often, as you probably know I will write the totally wrong word--one that doesn't even make any sense. I think it is my age showing. Just type out a different word. I often spell the wrong word correctly, at least.

- The mixing up of words like 'their and 'there', etc.

That also bugs me and I know the correct word, but sometimes I catch myself almost using the wrong one (and probably do use the wrong one on occasion that I don't catch) so I assume that someone that uses the incorrect word knows the right word, but is in a hurry and types the wrong one. Of course if someone does it often that's probably not the case. And I agree--I wouldn't correct someone since being rude is worse than using incorrect grammar.
