My hubby and I are considering going. We are 27 and 33. No kids (yay!). We are not night owls and usually like going to bed before 10.

Should we pay the money to go to this? Is it worth it? And will we get our money's worth by only staying until 9 or so? I just wondered if this event is more suited for kids than adults.

Thanks!

LindsayDunn--DH (51) & I (48) are much older than you & your DH and we did the MVMCP last year for the first time and loved it. We will be going back to do it again this Dec. We are not night owls either. DH works 12 hour swing shifts while I am up every morning by 4 am, leave for work by 6 am, and don't get home until around 6 pm. I am usually in bed by 8 pm. So you can tell that we don't hoot at the moon much! Anyway, our secret was going back to the room the afternoon of the MVMCP and catching a nap! We have done the rides and attractions at the MK many, many times so all we concentrated on was the special Christmas shows, parade, and fireworks. We also had dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. All in all it was a great evening! Well worth the money, IMHO! ::yes::

Will be so much going on you won't have any trouble staying up past your normal bedtime. We love it so much have been each year since 1992 and most years twice. This year going on December 6th and 8th. :goodvibes :flower: :earsboy:

To get the most out of it, I would get there at 4:00pm, that is when they first allow admission with just the MVMCP ticket. The first parade is around 8:15 and the fireworks are about 9:15. We usually hang around for the 9:30 Celebrate the Season show in front of the castle. My mom can't stay up late anymore, so we usually leave after that.

If you have never been by all means go...Go early in the week like a Tuesday if possible...and get there at around 4....they will let you you will share the park with day guests till 6 then they will send party guest to a certain land usually TL till 7 as they clear out everyone else...get pic early or late not at 9PM...

I have a blast going. Our kids are by no means night owls but they sure stay up - happily, not cranky - and love it.

Its all so Christmas and Magical :)
