Hi!! My family (husband and daughter) and I are booked into a 1 bedroom at CCV for spring break 2019 (3/30-4/5) and my husband's parents are going to be staying at Shades of Green. We booked CCV before my in-laws decided to come down and now I'm questioning our location and would like to be closer to them.

Poly isn't an option because we really want the 1 bedroom...would Bay Lake Tower be a better option, since my in-laws would be able to walk to the Poly and then hop the monorail to the Contemporary? Is there a better DVC option regarding proximity to Shades of Green?

Also: my in-laws will be buying theme park tickets for our entire group since they get the military discounted tickets, will I be able to book fastpasses at the 60 day mark for our entire group on MDE even though we'll have two different reservations?

Thank you!!

Don't know the booking answer but I would keep CCV unless you intend for them to be hanging out in your room every day. They can take a boat from the MK or BLT to CCV.

I would stay with CCV, I really don't think BLT would be that much easier.

Right now GFV one bedroom is available, but who's to say it will still be at the end of the month. And it will require more points.

I believe Disney allows Shades of Green guests now to do FastPasses 60 days out. This is a change from the past, but believe it is their new policy. I would call Disney or Shades of Green directly to verify. VGF is the closest besides the Poly to Shades of Green. Depending on their price at Shades of Green, renting points might be almost as cheap and the transportation options for staying on Disney Proper is slightly better than Shades of Green in my opinion. Also they would save money on parking by renting points if they are driving down. I remember Shades of Green charging to park.

Our DD and her DH stayed at Shades while we were staying at VWL and it was no problem. The only move I would consider for proximity would be to GFV. The crosswalk from Shades to Poly and GF is not far

Agree with the others about staying put. The only one that would be much better is VGF, and as noted, it's far more expensive than SOG.

If they will have a car at Shades of Green, it is a VERY easy, quick drive from Shades to Grand Floridian. It's also walkable between Shades and Grand Floridian.

As long as you are linked with friends and families, they will be able to make reservations for you.
