I have *0* Lime Green Mickey Heads! I'll post again when I have more....

I used self-laminating ID tags and then DH swiped the buckle-attachment from old luggage tags and used them. Also, I used 2 mickeys per luggage tag so you see color on both sides.

I used 2 to make the double-sided mickeys as well, but where did you find the self-laminating ID tags? What store and where aisle-wise, if you don't mind? I'm going to do DD5's luggage w/her Princess ones that I printed off of allearsnet, so that would work great for those as well.

Thanks for the info!

I went to Staples. I looked in the aisle with the laminating machines - all of the supplies for the machines as well as the self-laminating stuff is there. I just checked the Staples website, and 3M makes a luggage tag size (you have to sort through the products).

Best of luck!! My kids thought they were the greatest!

Thank you Michelle - my DDs are already fighting over who's going to have which colour

Excuse me, but I didn't realize the Lime Green Mickey heads were that hard to find. All the Home Depots around here will give you as many as you want free. I picked up a handful of Mickey Heads in several diffferent colors for our trip last January, just to make our luggage easier to identify on the carousel. I went yesterday and picked up 32 of the Alien Green ones. I'll be using 12 of them to make tags for my luggage, backpacks, fanny pack, and messenger bag (since I can't seem to decide which to carry) for my trip next week, but if someone wants the rest PM me in the next few days and I'll be happy to mail you some. I could also go back to Home Depot to pick up more as we have two Home Depots around here. I may do so anyway.

As far as making luggage tags, Wal Mart has the self laminating ones by 3M in the aisle with paper shredders, coin sorters, yellow stickys, etc. What I did in January was just write my name & Cell phone number on the Mickey heads, gently removed them from their backings, placed two back to back, placed them on the luggage tag, removed the paper portion from the luggage tag and just smoothed the sticky part back across the nonsticky side and the Mickey Head, then slipped the enclosed loops through the hole in the tag that was already at the end of the luggage tag. It self laminates as you press the sticky side across the nonsticky side and whatever you put in there. I think 5 luggage tags were probably around $5.00, but I'm not sure. I know they were cheap and very easy to make though. For my trip next week, I'm including the resort name for the luggage ones that DME needs to pickup and dressing the ones up for my backpacks and fannypacks with Disney stickers (from Michaels) and my Dis name.

TraceyL....Did you get them already???? If so, that was faster than domestic delivery!!!

I did thank you :sunny:

My DDs are fighting over their favourite - the 'Happily Ever After' hot pink colour already  may have to keep that one for myself - though my fave is the 'Neverland'!)

I was surprised how quickly they arrived too
