I just updated the firmware on my D300. Yeah I know I am slack. Well I keep old memory cards around to do that and to store camera settings on them. Great to have stored if you some how change them and want to reset.
Anyway, I put a 128mb card in and format it. I thought something was wrong with the card!!! It said only 4 pictures. I forgot I keep my camera set on RAW lossless uncompressed. Each picture is about 25+mb large. In my old Nikon 995 that card would have given me 40+ images at 3.1 mp.
My how times have changed quickly.
