I am in agreement though, in the econamy the job is more important.

Hey, maybe we could have a mini-podcast cruise. We'll take the ferry across the Long Island Sound. Instead of DATW, we could have DAMS (Day at Mohegan Sun). What could we do for cruise activities? Instead of a cruise buffet we could eat hot dogs from Nathans or something.........

I'm a a teacher too, so I won't be going on the cruise either. I think it's wonderful that your DH is able to find a good position when so many districts are talking about layoffs. It took me 2 years to find a position, and I had to move to a new city for it. I love my job though, so it was worth it! There will be other Podcast events!!!

So many of you know that I had to cancel the cruise because DBF was interviewing for a teaching job and we were pretty sure he was gonna get it...well...HE GOT THE JOB!!! He starts on Monday!

We are so excited and so happy because we know how lucky he is to have landed a job in such a horrible economy. To everyone out there looking for a job keep your eye on the prize...it will happen for you too
