I had a BLT for Thanksgiving with a little Holiday & Birthday Cheer:NEW END & new PTR

Love the cupcakes for breakfast! They will always remember that!!

Great pics from BBB. :thumbsup2 That is the hairstyle I wanted my girls to choose but of course they didn't. Mairead has only done BBB once and Deirdre twice. Glad we got a chance to do it before they got 'too big'. Now they want to try the Pirate League. pirate:

What a great update! Your girls look like beautiful princesses!!!!!! I just adore their dresses!

Looks like Naomi-Ruth had an excellent start to her birthday. Cupcakes for breakfast are the best!

She looks so sad getting her makeover! Poor girl. I'm sure as she gets older, it won't be such a scary experience for her.

Your 3 girls look absolutely adorable! I love the dresses.

Such a pretty trio of princesses, Julie! Poor Naomi-Ruth, though, she doesn't look happy even after it was all finished. That look says it all! :goodvibes

Awww! What a reluctant little princess! princess:

I know...

Never mind it being hard to be a princess... it's just hard to be four! The girls all look precious, though! And they look so happy together in front of the Castle!

they really had a fun morning!

Cupcakes for breakfast... yum! What a treat!

The pics of Naomi Ruth are cracking me up! I'm sure it wasn't funny to you at the time, but those looks she is giving the camera are just too much!

The girls all look perfect in front of the castle. Great BBB makeovers and great dresses! :thumbsup2

Oh My!

My new favorite photo is the one of NR looking into the mirror!! You must, must send that one into All Ears as well!!

R&R also look wonderful. Rachel looks like she enjoyed the most!

I really want to do this with my Rachel, but I think I'll take your advice and wait a few more years. I can't wait to show Rachel these photos though, so she can start thinking about it.

What other hair styles do they have? I've only ever seen that "bun"?

oh thanks Marsha ;) Rachel did enjoy it the most I agree. You should do it one of these times w/ your Rachel...if she's a people girl and likes getting dolled up she's actually the perfect age!

they have these diva/rockstar ones where they add these funky colored hair pieces...just google BBB and/or look around here on the boards there is a ton of info, pictures and video too.

Awwww....that is one disgruntled Princess! Glad the rest of the day got better for her. All the girls looks so pretty in their dresses! :goodvibes

What beautiful little princesses you have! (Even the grumpy one!) Those faces she was making are priceless. :) It looks like Rebekah and Rachel loved being pampered like princesses! So fun!

(Day 2 Saturday 11-20-10 afternoon)

After the girls became Princesses and we did several rides and had a late morning snack, Matt’s Parents arrived to meet up w/ us at the Magic Kingdom. It was now time for our lunch ADR at CRT…so let’s see if it is all that it’s cracked up to be….

The check-in line was a bit harrying…not quite a line and a bit unorganized at that…plus a family trying to do a walk up…seriously?

Once to the podium, got us checked in and thought we’d have a bit of a wait but then was given a “royal pass” and got straight in. We next waited in a short line to have a meet and greet w/ Cinderella herself. I snapped a few pictures while waiting in line:

And then it was our turn, because of our party size we got two poses. We did a family shot

And just one w/ the girls

Cinderella was very nice and took a quick moment to hug each girl and wish a Happy Birthday to Naomi-Ruth.

Next we ascended the royal staircase upstairs to the great hall-dinning room:

We were seated straight away and got situated w/ ordering drinks and the chef was out promptly to discuss NR food options. If I recall correctly Nathan was a bit squirmy and getting agitated before we even arrived at CRT…so that took a bit of effort to chill him down and get him to sit correctly in the bench w/out flopping all over the place. He managed to pull it together and had a nice lunch.

The room was quite nice and very castle like...you really can feel like part of a fairy tale in here. I especially liked all the banners/crest hanging up.

The kids were each given Wishing stars (which they do a little cermeony of sorts w/) and either wands or swords).

I have read everything is RUSHED at CRT…and I agree in part. We didn’t have the most fun CM for a waiter…he basically did his job…nothing extra and no major pomp and circumstance in singing to NR for her b-day either (she did get an extra scoop of chocolate tofutti ice cream w/ a candle though).

The food was good…not great, but nice, nothing to complain about. Semi quickly served and they did accommodate NR quite nicely (especially her dessert) and brought out plain noodles for the older children too.

Overall the lunch was well done and paced quite nicely for us. I saw many people coming and going…so this is a well ironed ship. Here are several pictures from our meal:

(I took some pix of the food itself too…but I’ll post that later)

We had the classic Princesses greeting us. Each one was dramatically announced by first telling a little of their story. We met Snow White, Aurora, Belle and Ariel. We enjoyed taking pictures and having several of them sign our autograph pages. Many commented how they liked their pages and I can’t remember who now, but the little sayings I had written on the bottom of each page…One was like “I did say that!” it was cute.

Taking pictures in the castle was difficult w/ our little point and shoot camera w/ all the sunshine coming in the windows though.

A few of the Princess were a bit rushed, but Belle and Ariel visited w/ us a bit longer. Here are a few pictures:

(you can see which Princesses Nathan likes)

Would I dine here again…not necessarily, but if the girls ever wanted to again you bet! It’s definitely something one should try at least once.

Up NEXT: Turning 8 in the Rabbit Hole….

Thanks for reading as always,

J~

Great CRT photos!
I totally agree withy our review of CRT. It is rushed and the food is good.
Ohh and your 1900 Park Fare update is next :yay:
That one is a family favorite. I can't wait to read your review.

I'm so glad you posted pics and your review.

I just signed us up for lunch here on our May trip. I haven't told the girls yet. Although we won't do BBB, I'll make sure to dress them up in their pretty dresses.

I'm going in to the lunch with pretty low expectations. Everything I hear says you eat at the Castle for the atmosphere, not the food, considering the price.

But it looks like a LOT of fun!

I love the pic of your 3 girls with Cinderella...that is so beautiful!

can't wait to see what the food looked like.

The dessert looked like a cup of ice cream and then 3 different toppings to put on at your leisure? If so, my girls will just love that!

What a neat meal at the castle! That is one thing we have never done. Love all the pictures of the girls with the princesses, and it is too funny to see Nathan appear in a couple of them. Like you said, you can tell which ones he likes. I really like the picture of Naomi-Ruth ascending the staircase and holding her gown in one hand. Such a cute princess! :goodvibes

Oh how fun!!! :cloud9:

I'm so glad everyone had a good time!

Yes it was fun...it was fun to "princess" watch too of all little girls dressed up.

Great CRT photos!

thanks Jennifer...and you are a smart one...paying attention, knowing where we ate for rachel's birthday...I should be able to get it up before I leave again ;) next week

that is how you should look at it...you can sort of read the menu in my picture...same as what is listed on Allears...most of us got the braised cobia...fish and the raspberry sobert for dessert. I will do a big food "porn" post soon

I love the pic of your 3 girls with Cinderella...that is so beautiful!

me too...glad NR didn't have her fingers in her mouth :lovestruc

Yes that was the children's ice cream dessert. it's a pretty common dessert standard at most TS places...w/ the painters pallete. the scoop of ice cream and little toppings like sprinkles and chocolate chips. They brought out mini marshmallows for NR:thumbsup2

Oh yes...don't tell him I told you...but he has a crush on Belle ;) I know it was too cute watching NR climb those stairs :goodvibes

This message is for Rachel: I loved your pictures at BBB and eating at the castle. I wish I could do that too!

BTW, did you get anything special in your mailbox from me?

Love,

Rachel
