I Guess We Just Love Those Character Meals!

I was just going over our dining ressies for our July trip and was a bit surprised to see that we have so many character meals!

1. Liberty Tree Tavern
2. Donald's Breakfastosaurus
3. Crystal Palace
4. Princess Storybook Lunch

But we also have:

1. 50's Prime Time Cafe (lunch)
2. The Plaza (lunch)
3. Whispering Canyon Cafe (dinner)

And I have to get to Pecos Bills this trip. It's a must.

I can't wait! I'm getting SO excited - and I've started my pre-Disney weight loss plan so that I can eat with abandon (almost abandon anyway!) and hopefully just gain back what I lose before I go. CRAZINESS!

it sounds awesome actaully...and yo will ahve a great time. my family is not that organized to plan so much before we get there, let alone know what time we will want to eat.

except the lunch w/princess..food just isn't appealing to me.but still holding breath about boys buzz and woody meal. ....what's at pecos yalike so much

That last part made me laugh. That's just what I'm doing! I am trying to drop some weight, but I know in WDW, Epcot isn't the same without a fiesta margarita and MK isn't the same without a Toll House sandwich!

This August, I'm doing CP breakfast, LTT dinner, Garden Grill lunch and 50's Prime Time lunch. Two adults and 3 character meals, lol! However, I'm also doing bluezoo, Palio, Brown Derby, Jiko, etc. so I've got a nice mix.

Sounds like a great plan to me. We did 5 character meals when we were there in Jan. We did CRT (breakfast), Princess Storybook Lunch, Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) & Chef Mickey's for Breakfast and Dinner (on separate days of course). We had a great time. Our DD's love the characters!! Hopefully we can do that many again when we go back next fall!

I know you will have a magical time...it looks like you have some good meals planned.

We, too, haven't tired of character meals yet! DS, 8, enjoys trying new ones and has a hard time letting go of favorites (although I *think* we'll be passing on Chef Mickey's for the first time for our trip this year!). We used to have dinner in the Castle, but now that it's all-princesses, all-the-time, he HAS taken that off his list! I do think that character meals are part of what sets Disney trips apart from anything else, and for us especially there's nothing better than getting into the parks before they open for a character meal and then being "right there" to start our day (and get lots of pictures without anyone else in them!).

I think I have gone overboard on the characters too.

park faire...dinner
CRT..breakfast.
Crystal palace..breakfast.
Crystal palace..lunch

And we also have...perfectly princess tea party....wonderland tea party....pirate cruise.
