Ok yesterday I took my dd 17 and 8 to the ER. Both complained of body achs both had high temp and both felt like throwing up.. Now dd 8 has Asthma and she was given the Tamiflu.. Today she has no feaver or achs but a bad cough. besides that they are acting fine.. Tomm I will bring them back to the reg DR.

also the ER said they were no longer doing the test for the Swine because in NY it has beome the Flu.. Also my dd's have had the regular flu shot about a month ago.. anyway how long will this take to go through the rest of us ? How long do I keep them in the house? Im cleaning like crazy...

We kept DS home until he had been fever free for 24 hours (about 5 or 6 days??) though the last few days he was in the 99's or just barely 100. It was only for 24 hours that he had the really high temps (104-105).
I didn't do any special cleaning, just the regular cleaning and washing our hands. No one else in the family caught it.

Two weeks ago my son had either H1N1 or a regular old, nasty virus. He was also given Tamiflu. He was in the main living areas with us but I constantly wiped down things he touched (keyboard, doorknobs, etc.) No one else caught it. I was sure I was going to get it because I was sitting in the car with him on the way to the pediatrician's office as he coughed and coughed. But, nope, I didn't get it. I did LOTS of handwashing though. LOTS.
