I got to switch back to POP this morning!! YAY!!

I was originally booked for POP but wanted to add an extra day. So I had to switch to Sports.

So this morning before work I got on the Disney website and they had availability for POP and Music for my dates!! I called immediately and was able to get POP back. I don't know if they released some extra rooms or some people had cancelled, but I'm so glad!!

I have not heard such good things about Sports and was not as excited about staying there. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful to be able to go to Disney, but I know the rooms have not been refurbed in a while and a pool was being refurbed as well.

I read somewhere that the Sports rooms are being refurbed later this year and when that happens I might consider a stay at Sports, but for now......POP!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!

I was not expecting it. Maybe first thing in the morning is the best time to check for availability I was very surprised and happy!!

I too was at POP and then to add 2 extra days had to move to sports. after I did it I started to read all the reviews. I know that the CM I spoke to requested building 7 for us, and that building seems to be doing okay. I hope it is.

I just looked and Sports and Movies were available for my dates (Sept 2-8th).
Maybe it is because I look first thing in the morning, or maybe because of the dates I'm using. When I looked last night only Sports was available, but this morning Movies was on there!

Don't give up! I thought I was going to fall in the floor when I saw POP open for my dates yesterday morning. I grabbed up the phone so fast! It was getting time for me to leave for work but I didn't care! Luckily I wasn't late but I didn't care if I was!!!

We also were able to get POP with dining yesterday!!! We have been looking for awhile for availability @ POP throughout Sept without any luck, but finally yesterday, my fiancee got through and we got Sept 21- Oct 1 @ POP with Dining!
She called her parents right away, and they also got POP with dining from Sept 22-Oct 1. The CM told her mom there was no more rooms available on Sept 21.... we got the last one!!!!
I then called to book for my parents, and the CM told me that there was no availability for the 21st or 22nd at POP!!!! but there is availibility at the all stars. So I got off the phone and checked online.........and got exactly what the CM told me wasnt available!!! Sept 22- Oct 1, POP with dining!

Basically, you need to keep checking throughout the day, both by calling and online. We booked 2 reservations over the phone and 1 online. We did this in a matter of 10-15 minutes around 11:30am EST. I guess Disney randomly opens rooms throughout the day?
