Yesterday when the computers were down, my TA couldn't get through to apply the discount to my package. But today she got through and I saved $250 on my MYP w/ dining staying at the POP for six nights!!! I'm so excited! It's the first time I ever saved money on a Disney trip!! Pixie dust to everyone. I hope you also get your dreams fulfilled!!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2:  :moped: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :bounce: :wave2: :bounce:

Please explain....I have the Disney Visa but was not aware of a discount. Getting ready to pay for our package in a few days and would love to save some $$. Thanks.

If you booked it yourself, just call Disney and ask them if you can apply the code for Disney Visa discount to your existing package. My Way Package with dining code was ZBD I think. There was a code for just the package with no dining also. You should have gotten an email from Disney VISa. Mousesavers.com probably has both codes. CHeck there. Good luck!!!

Great news Margie! I too just saved with the AP code. Thanks for the message. I was gone all day since it was the 1st day of school.

i have the disney visa and i never recieved any info about any discount rate. i only found out after reading it on diboards this morning. i wonder why i didn't get an email or any other info. but anyway i did re-book, and i am saving about $140. and i also had to change hotels- we were staying at POP but there were no more rooms available when i called so we are now staying at ASsports- not thrilled, but we never stayed there, so it will new to us. we also changed hotels because my parents and dh mother will be joining us,(me, dh, ds,&dd). so that we can all travel toghether.

We have Disney Visa and I too found out about it on here. I've had the card for 6 years and NEVER received any e-mails or notice of codes. Always find them on here though.

I think the email must have come from Disney World itself. I subscribe to get emails from them about things like disney shopping online, disney world resort, etc. You can sign up on Disney World website. They send stuff about vacation club, etc.

Same thing for me, I never got an email either. Not that it matters we are not going until April, but it would be nice to know for the future should there be anymore codes.

i called today too, but instead of saving money we upgraded to a deluxe for $254 more. Now staying at the AKL. I am so excited.

For those looking for information on this discount, go to www.mousesavers.com. They have information listed on the site.

Thank You Everyone! I got $252.00 off my package! I never received anything from Chase or from the Disney Newsletter, etc. I am registered with both. Thank goodness for the Dis Boards! :cheer2:

I saw another post here that you can apply the Visa discount to an exsiting ressie? Now, if I booked the package, and my MIL has a Disney Visa, can she call Disney and get the discount? Her name is on the reservations as well since she's going with us.
Any thoughts on this? Has anyone tried this before? :confused3

cinderellasster-
you MIL should have no problem- i made ressies for my parents and my MIL with my DIS visa.the cast member said they can pay for the rest of there reseration with there own credit card (but i am sure it all depends on which cast member you get, some may say yes some may say the whole thing must be paid with a DIS visa). either way you will be able to se her visa!
