I got my new driver's license today

My license was going to expire on Friday, so DH and I went to the DMV today to get ours renewed. (His birthday is Christmas Eve, so they both come up at the same time.) I was in the line to have my new picture when I realized that I am going to be 8 months pregnant in the picture on my license <i>for the next 7 years</i>! I don't consider myself a vain person, but I don't like this at all. You can't really see my stomach in the picture, but my face and, um, well, the rest of my upper body are clearly pregnant.

BTW, I did not put my current weight on the form! I just wrote down what I would like to weigh.

Don't feel bad Kermit. I haven't changed the weight on my license since I was 16 years old. Everytime I renew it the clerk asks me if any of the info has changed. I always tell him no. The last time though he looked me up and down and raised his eyebrows at me!

LOL! I can relate. With my first DS I ws actually due on my birthday so as you can guess I was very pregnant in my picture.
When I had the picture done I said to DH, "The next time I have to do this we will have a 5 year old. We were both ! Well, guess who turned 6 today. That time goes by so fast. The moral of the story, is to enjoy these baby years.
And FWIW, when I had to give up that picture last year, deep down I was actually a little sad. Enjoy the pregnancy too!

You could always "lose" your license too in several months Don't worry about the weight thing... mine hasn't changed since I was 16 as well. Boy it'd sure be nice to weigh that again too

In Georgia, we can order our licenses online or send in a check. My pic is one that was taken 4 years ago that they have on file.

It could be worse.

My license expired one week after I had DS. I was in the hospital for 4 days so just the second day after we took DS home I had to go to the DMV to get a new license. My picture looks lovely as I am sure you can imagine.

Wow, come to think of it, my pic is when I was 7 mos. pregnant with DD. She's 5 now. We also have that renewal-by-mail so, as long as I don't get a ticket, I'll forever be pictured as pregnant!!

Heck, when you're pregnant, people think you're 'glowing'. I'd rather have that than what I actually look like after 5 years SAHM!
