I got just what I wanted for Christmas!! Snow and Toy Soldiers! March pix add 5/16/11

Oh how you've made me want to go to Disney at Christmas time. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Too bad the lines for everything were so long and you didn't get to do much. I had read that they changed up the lines for Small World and thought that I sure was going to be confused when we go next time.

We are all going to have to plan a Christmas trip!!! I just made my ADRs for our March trip.

I would love some input from everybody please!!

Sunday, March 6th, 2:20 at Tony's
Monday, March 7th, 2:05 at Kona's
Tuesday, March 8th, 4pm at Rainforest at AK
Wednesday, March 9th, 5pm at Cape May
Thursday, March 10th, 2:20 at Whispering Canyon Cafe

We've never eaten at Cape May or the Rainforest so it is a new adventure for us..........:lmao:

Love ALL those ADRs, always wanted to try rainforest, haven't looked into Cape May!! LOL Tony's, Kona and now WC are must do's for us. So those are AWESOME!!! LOL

We've eaten at Rainforest Cafe several times. I think once at AK and the others at DTD. We've always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

I had an ADR for Cape May and I ended up canceling it. I read several food reports and looked at their pictures and, since we are fairly picky eaters, I backed out. I wish I could remember who the Disers were who reported on it. I know one was MickiNicki. I can't remember the other. They both said they loved it though.

great ADR's; I want to try Whispering Canyon when we go in the fall or Cape May; I think Danny would enjoy both. I wanted to give T-Rex a try but since we are doing DDP and I plan to do at least three of the TS credits as character meals I think that will be enough interaction at meal time this year. I decided to give the DDP a try this go round...
and I would love to plan a Christmas trip with you and Lisa and everyone else who is interested just not until next year or the following....

If you like dinosaurs I would go to T-Rex at DTD. It is fantastic and the food is great there as well. We are going in March for the first time since our honeymoon in 2000. I hope the crowds aren't bad!! We'll be there 20-26. When are you going?

Your MK photos are awesome!! You will love Cape May. The food there is SOOO tasty!

There are few things I enjoy more than Christmas...and seeing the park decorated brings back great memories of when that was our choice of vacation time!! I sure do miss being there around the holidays. Thanks for sharing those wonderful pictures with us!

Thanks Christie! I have always wanted to try Rainforest too; not sure why we haven't :rolleyes1. I picked Cape May because the seafood buffet has fried shrimp on the day I chose, and we love Tony's and Kona too .

I made our ADR at the AK restaurant. Dale said he would rather eat there instead of at DTD :confused3.

I need to find some reports on Cape May. You know I have some picky eaters too, but Dale will eat fried shrimp. Dallas can always get french fries.....:lmao:.

Thanks Connie. We really like WCC; the food was good and the prices actually aren't that bad. Same here with T-Rex; since we will likely be on the DDP when we go it is out. I asked Dallas about some character meals and he said he wasn't interested :sad2:. Dale doesn't like to do the character breakfasts because he thinks they are way over priced for the type food served.

A Christmas trip, with all my Dis buds, would be great. We had a blast spending time with Christie, Chris and Tyler.

Hey  thanks for coming over :goodvibes.

My son loves dinosaurs, but since we will be on the DDP we will have to skip it this trip. Everytime I try to make and ADR they seem to be booked up on the days I want to go :sad2:.

This will be our first March trip in several years. Last time we were there it wasn't too bad. We will be there the first week so we will miss ya'll.

Thanks April :goodvibes. I'm thinking I'll like Cape May just for the change in atmosphere from all our regular places :). Can't wait to try it.

Dana, I know that MickiNicki had a review of dinner at Cape May. She had lots of pictures of the buffet and food as well.

It really was a magical time to be there. My sister-in-law asked me if I would help her plan a trip she and my brother are taking at Christmas this year. They have triplets and their birthday is December 27th so they want to be at Disney on Christmas day and for the triplets birthday. I told her I was more than happy to help her plan :goodvibes:banana::cool1:.

I'm hoping we can go back this year around Christmas time, but with Amanda's wedding being the weekend before Thanksgiving I'm not sure if we will be able to go or not.

Great ADR choices Dana! I think the only one I haven't tried yet is Kona. Can't wait to see what else you have planned for March!

The Christmas decorations are really nice at Disney. We have a lot of the same pics girl. :thumbsup2

Thanks Leanne. We really like Kona, and the fact that it is never overcrowded makes it much better!

I think I am sold on going during the Chrismas season. It was so nice to see all the decorations and enjoy the atmosphere. Oh and as far as the pictures; great minds think alike...........:lmao:.
