I got a pin code!!!

Your travel dates fall in my time frame somewhat. I got the tix upgrade code too but am going to call to see if I should book a short stay in January or so to get the discount.

It just might be worth it to find out if only a 2 or 3 day stay is required to get the free upgraded tickets. If so, I can always add on the extra days the next time we go to Disney World.

Just called Disney and didn't have any luck with the discount code. The cm said it was done random. But i did confirm my email address in case i do get something in the mail. I had put a hold on a grand gathering, for August, and not sure if this is going to prevent me from getting a discount. I guess i'll wait a while and see if something comes out for a better deal.

I got a pin code last night too and didn't think I could use it cause the dates listed aren't when we're going, but now that I see someone got a code for September I'm wondering if it's the same thing. I know it had January and February dates listed, then mentioned that March dates were available at a different rate. Does this mean I can call for other dates too? I just assumed that since we're not going during those times that I couldn't use it, but maybe it's worth a try.

I just got off the phone with Disney and was able to save $100.00 on each of the rooms I have booked for a total of $200.00. These were standard room only reservation at the pop.

I am so excited!!!!!

Saved 250.00 at the BC could save over 1000.00 if we took 2 rooms at Value. Received a pin in an e-mail this am it was for value however it did save me over750.00 at the BC which where I already had a ressie. Called back later to see what else it open and only CB, BC, and SSR. were open for my dates Jan. 1-7, 2008.

MYWpackage with Deluxe dinning plan and 5 day parkhopper and water parks is 5949.97.
MYW package with deleuxe dining and 5 base tickets is 5444.07.
MYWpackage with Deleuxe dinning and with free ticket upgrade with pin is 5194.35

Saving 755.62

That's a savings of $203.38 off of rack rate.

It's actually the same as the AAA discount but I like to book through Disney and have control over my ressies.

No mention of upgrading to hoppers though.

No go for me. But, my CM said there are only codes through March. Maybe I'll call back and check again. They also still have my old email from 5 years ago, their computers never change it! She did say though that anyone from our grand gathering can use their code for all of us.

Rats, no codes for me either. Well, at least not one for 2008. There is one for the fall (through DEC) I'm guessing that one will keep me from getting the new one.

Oh well, still hoping for Visa card codes or general.

I also got an email with a PIN attached but this one is for "$82* per night, plus tax for stays most nights 8/5-10/3 and 11/25-12/19/07" at the values or "Save 20%** off the nondiscounted price for stays most nights 10/21-11/3/07, 11/11-11/17/07, 12/9-12/15/07, 1/6-2/2/08, 2/24-3/1/08, 3/30-4/12/08, 8/10-9/27/08, 10/19-11/1/08, 11/9-11/15/08 and 12/7-12/13/08."

Obviously I can't post the PIN itself but I can tell you that I got this one as a direct result of requesting the new 2008 trip planning DVD ~ here is the beginning of the email ~

So, I suggest going to the travel section at Disney.com and requesting the new DVD ~ it isn't the best code out there but it's better than rack rate for sure!!
