I got a pin code!!!

I just got off the phone using the same code!!! I called and the cm said I had the code by my name. She said it was for dates throughout the whole year- didn't say the 'wonderful weeks', but I'm guessing that could be it. I didn't get an email, but she said it could have gone to a different email address. Anyway, she checked and said yes, the code was next to my name. So, I saved $352 on my package and $353 on my parent's room that is linked with my reservation!:cool1: Doing the happy dance!!!! (never hurts to call and ask if a code is by your name)
Now, here is my question. What if a better offer comes along- say free dining? Could I cancel this code I just applied and use the new/better one? I really think free dining may be the only 'better' offer that is given, but if it is, can that be done???:confused3

I was at Pop Century this past Aug. Do you think i will get sent a code? How can i get a code? and who did you call to see if your code was with your name. Possibly i can call and find out too?
 
teree: This is the first code I've ever gotten this way- always had to use the general public codes before. It is totally random- they are sent out by their computer system or something. I never actually got the email, just called and asked if there was a code next to my name. Anyway, call 407-828-8101 to find out. There is a 800#- maybe 800- wdisney? Just call and ask if there is a code attached to your name or email address. I do call ever so often to check- sometimes persistence is the key... The cms seem to be cracking down harder on codes than they were our last trip in 2004. They are doing their jobs, but it does seem that in the past, you could call and the cms would spat off what codes they knew of that were available. This year the ones I've gotten would say- there is a code out but you have to tell me the letters and things like that. Either way, it never hurts to call and ask every once in a while- even if you get 'no' every time. You never know when a code will appear by your name and you may not even know it. I already have a reservation so it was easy for them to check- they may have to check your email address if you don't have a reservation. Also, people have guessed that maybe ordering a free planning dvd could possibly help. And definitely make sure you are registered at disneyworld.com- as is every adult with an email address that would be traveling with you. Sending pixie dust your way for a code!!!:wizard:

I think there are two codes floating out there for select 2008 dates ... I called and asked about any codes and used one today ... saved $800! :cool1: It included my MYW park hopper and dining. Compared to my existing AAA room only reservation, I got the passes and dining for free and pocketed another $30. :banana:

that's great $800 savings! What month did you make your reservations? I too am looking for MYW with Water Park option tickets and dining for 8/17 to 8/22/08, and we're going to need 3 rooms at Pop Century. Hope i have as much good luck as you! Did you call the phone # above that Tink2 indicated?
P.S. I just signed up on Disney.com. Maybe that will help too!

Again, what happens if you have already used a code and then get a better offer later? Can you 'undo' the old code and apply the new one? I'm thinking it may be looking very good for people going those certain weeks in 2008.
 
disneydreamer- thanks! That is what I thought, but I wanted to make sure before it happened and I tried to convince a cm. Somehow- I tend to get ones that aren't always that knowledgable if you know what I mean?;)
 
Is the discount you were offered only with park tickets or is it for room only discounts also?
 
The discount I got was used on my parents' room only reservation also. Weird thing is- I have a package and they have room only and they saved $1 more than me. I wonder if the cm made a mistake of some kind with mine b/c I find that weird. Gotta go to work now, think I will call back this afternoon and see. Anyone have any ideas as to how that could have happened- how they saved $1 more than me with their room only and us with a package (4 people with park hoppers)?
 
I booked March 30 through April 5. There were two codes, one with dining and one without.

Just called and while I don't have a pin code attached, my in-laws did. It was an offer for an upgrade on tix - free park hoppers & water parks. Offer expires 3/15/08 (we're travelling 4/2 to 4/10/08). Gives me hope though that something else may come out!

Everyone should call!!! Maybe you'll get lucky.
