I got a new job!

It's an Admin. Asst. job with major car company and I start Monday!!

I've been looking for a new job since May. Right now I work for a very small privately owned company... not much pay, or benefits. So I decided to only persue a job in a larger company with more advancement opportunities, better pay scales and benefits.

Now, let me say that I have been out of the work force for about 15 years while I've been raising my kids (I've only been at my present job for 10 months, 15 yrs. ago I worked for "Ma Bell"). And let me tell you that entering into the corporate job market was very scarey. I went on 2 interviews, I totally bombed out on the first interview which was with a state university... it was horrible, the questions they ask!! But I got the job on the 2nd interview I went to with the car company!! I'm very excited... not bad for a 45 year old broad!

That is great news. I am so happy for you. Getting back in the work force after all that time must be very difficult. I find it hard after being away after only 2 months. Good luck with the new job...now time to get back to WDW!!!

It is such a different world out there now. After that first horrible interview, I literally came home, crawled into bed and pulled the covers over my head.
