i got a great universal deal

we are going to disney12-14 for a week..we are a family of 5 dh, me, ds 8,ds 8 and dd 1 well we were just going to do disney ( disneys fastpass is free) but i got a free universal ticket 1 day 2 park in the mail and a coupon for up to six tickets for 35.00 1 day 2 park...then my best friend got one too, she cant use hers and gave it to us, so i went online to see if MAYBE they had a fl. res. price for one of their hotels and THEY DID! i could not pass it up 115.00 for royal pacific...so i added an extra day on to our trip. with the express pass you get for staying there it will be no problem getting it done in one day....

You will actually have two fulls days of unlimited express pass since you are staying onsite. The day you check in (all day) and the next day (all day). So check in early even though you may not get your room until later (they will hold your luggage for you, or just leave it in the car)

And here is my little rant about the Disney's fastpass is free. The express pass that you buy at Universal allows you one express line access for every ride without making any reservation. You could never do that with Disney's fastpass system unless there were no lines and in that case you wouldn't use fastpass at either Disney or Universal.

Even without Express pass you can do so many more rides than using fastpast at Disney. You can only get one fastpast per person every two hours. So you get one and then wait 30-60 minutes on another line for another attraction. We just returned from US/IOA and from 9am to noon everything was a walkon. After that maybe 20 minutes for the big rides. There is no comparison and I love Disney!!!

Just an FYI, you won't be able to use your friend's coupon unless she is going also. The coupons can only be redeemed by either the person it is addressed to or the current resident. If it doesn't have your name on it, you will need to have your own photo ID with that address listed on it. If she is not going, you won't be able to redeem her coupon.
