I got a Great Rate with National......

....at least I think I did. Yesterday I booked an intermediate car for $398.05- that's including all taxes for the last TWO weeks in January.

When I checked again this morning it was $681. which was what it had been running whenever I checked for the last month or so.

I've also kept checking Dollar and Avis, but they haven't come close to the $398 yet.

How'd that happen?

Good rate! I am going in 31 days or so (check my countdown for the real numbers) and I just lowered my minivan rate at National to $255.20 which includes all the taxes. We are staying a week. That's about $15 cheaper than I had for Dollar when I originally started.
