I found out the crime I commited

It's simply because I exsist. The lady I work with doesn't like me, and I was spending too much time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Well, I overheard her talking about me today. And I confronted the lady she was talking with. That lady told me I'm not doing anything wrong. The lady I work with doesn't like working with anyone and especially someone that gets a lot of sales. Like me.

So, that's good news. I feel much better finding out it's not anything I'm doing wrong. Now I can relax and do my job and not worry about her.

And if by doing so, I irritate the hell out of her, well, that's ok too.

Don't you just want to kick people like that? I recently got laid off from a job where a coworker didn't like me and had our boss convinced I had no clue how to do my job. It's a sad world.

This woman was ok as long as I stayed away from the register. Now I know why. And that's the end of that. I need my sales too, whether she likes or not.

I have a few of those at my place of work as well. When I first started working, this one woman hated me and was always quite rude. I was one of the few who could outshine her and that irritated her. Oh well, she seems to be over it now and actually patted me on the shoulder and said "Hi" in a sweet fashion a few days ago. I nearly fell over!

Perhaps your Miss Cranky Pants will have a change of heart as well.

You should be ashamed of yourself for doing so well. Don't people just amaze you? Well at least now you know what the deal is. I've found in life the best way to treat people like this is, kill them with kindness, it gives them no ammo.

LOL, I have been kind to her. She's an older lady and I was taught to respect my elders.
I can handle her being rude to be, but not in front of customers. And that I won't tolerate again. I let her slide once, that's it. I'm done being that nice.

Rudness in front of customers is uncalled for, and I would speak with your supervisor about that. It puts the business in a bad light.

That is kind of what I teach my kids. If someone is saying something rude to you or is mean, you just say, "And you have a nice day, too!". Kind of floors them. They don't know what to say next. Try it, works every time!!!

I used to work with a lady that had it in for me because I was younger than her and was her supervisor. She had everyone believing that she was such a good person. When I would go to my manager and tell her the things that this woman was doing, she didn't believe me. But as you know, what goes around, comes around, and I was finally believed. I had to work with her for three years. I wasn't letting her drive me away from a good job. She was one of those people that has to be mad at someone all of the time and that person was me.
