I find the repeated use of the word "yummy" hilarious!

Sometimes things are Wicked Yummy (I am from MA) or we stretch out the syllables (YUH. MEE.)

I'll say yummy once in a while, but usually not here. Hey, once in a while when talkin 'bout the pahks it's wicked hahd not to (NH)! :rotfl:

As long as no one says delish, Im ok. ;)

My SIL says that all the time. I used to make fun of her behind her back about it (I know - that's mean). BUT, now I catch myself doing it. Talk about pay back. ;) How's that for an emoticon - no irony there. :thumbsup2

I've never cared about the use of the word yummy. I don't know why it would bother anyone. :confused3

:rotfl: I knew people from around here would know exactly what I was talking about!

I say "yummy" on a daily basis....but I also have a 5 year old and a 1 year old so I find myself saying all sorts of immature jargon: stinkies, diapee, paci, boo boo.....It got a little out of hand once when I asked my husband if he "was hungee for some good food." He gave me the strangest look and said I needed some "adult" time. :sad2:

How is appetizer properly abbreviated? Is it appie or appy? I've seen both. ;)

I say "Yumbo-licious". Of course, that's trademarked and you can't say it unless you pay me.;)

My 7yo announced that the omelet I had made was, I quote, "a volcanic explosion of flavors in his mouth" in other words-yummy
