I FINALLY met my first DISer tonight at work!

Forgive me, but I can't remember her DIS name...she told me it was the one with the Fonzie picture in her signature.

It was pretty funny, because she came up to me to find out her room number, and said, "You're Stepharoonie, aren't you?" It really surprised me because when I'm at work, I forget about the computer She and her family were really nice.

So, I remember you said your first name was Wendy....but I forgot your DIS name! Howdy!

And yes Jungle Skipper...that's the place We were BUSY today!! It was a steady stream of people when I got there at 2:30 up until my break at 7:30!!! Lots of people checking in today.

I think I saw you when I checked in at AKL two weeks ago (we stayed there one night before going to OKW). You were very busy and had an important looking manager type at your side, so I didn't want to get you in trouble! But I did point you out to my family and say, "That's Stepharoonie!"

Its always nice to meet DISers when your on stage. I used to love it when they'd come up to me and ask "Are you Uncle Kyle?" My fellow castmembers would always give me very weird looks and whispers.

I didn't know you worked at AKL! Congrats on the Disney job. Does this mean you don't work at the haunted store anymore? I found that thread so fasinating, particularly your story.

TOO FUNNY--I just got back on the DIS today after returning from our trip a week and a half ago(too depressed to return to the real world that couldn't bring myself to read about Disney until now)--and I was going to post that I was lucky enough to meet the GREAT Stepharoonie! and I saw this!!!!

It was great to get to meet Steph in person--would love to have talked to her more--but didn't want to disrupt her at work--plus I had run my family into the ground that day and they were anxious to collapse.

We LOVED our stay at the AKL--and I was so happy to meet my first DISer--and a famous one at that!!!!!!!
