Today I went to a store that I never shop at to pick up a pair of shoes for my Mom. I was in a hurry but I had a half hour to get a pair of shoes. Ok, I shouldn't have done it but the lady annoyed me by not waiting on me and I yelled at her. It just annoyed me that she waited on someone else before taking care of me (she knew I was there first). I just wanted her to check on these shoes to see if they could send them from another store and it took her 20 min. to do so. Then she wanted to ring someone else up before she checked her computor. I lost it and yelled, now I feel really bad. I shouldn't have yelled but I had to leave and I got impatient.

I'm sorry, 50 lashes with a wet noodle.

Help me be patient for the rest of this x-mas season and not yell at anymore sales clerks.

Who has worked a lot of retail and should know better

Just call the store and ask to speak to the manager and convey an apology to her. My hubby did it once and I suggested that he do the same. He felt much better. We are human and it is a mistake that we all make at one time or another.

its ok...and if you don't want to call them write a letter and mail it to the store, or drop it off. don't feel bad though...

I think a written apology would be a great thing. We all have our impatient moments, but it's nice to be able to make amends. :)

Forget sending a letter. Forget calling.

If you feel badly, I'd drop by for a second and apologize:D ......

Again I agree with Eros. It will make her Christmas. She will be so shocked she'll be talking about it forever.

And my personal opinion. You embarrassed her in public, it needs a public apology.
But don't feel that bad about it, we all make mistakes, we just have to fix them.

Agreeing with Eros, what a concept!!! I did apologize to her after I yelled at her, so I did make amends.

I think that we all get impatient this time of year. Everything is so crowded and it takes forever to get things done. I just have to remember to be more considerent.
