I don't understand this (AP/BRP)

I just found out I could switch my airfare from January 29 to January 28 for the same price. I have a BRP ressie at ASMovies from the 29th to February 5th. I wanted to come in a day early, and CRO is telling me there are no AP rates available for the 28th.

Not only are there no rooms available at the BRP rate for that night, but it doesn't seem there are any rooms at all. At least, they can't seem to add one more night on.

Doesn't make any sense - Do they not want people to stay longer?

If there are no rooms avaiable then there is nothing that CRO can do...I am sure they would like you to stay, but if the hotel is full they don't have many options

Got it straightened out. The computers were down, and the CM I was speaking with didn't really seem to know what she was doing.

I called back, got somoene else, and she was able to add the extra night at the discounted rate.

All's well that ends well.
