I don't mean to brag, but...

We have friends traveling with us, so I am excited to show off my Disney knowledge to them! It is amazing what I have learned on this board!!! Last year I did some advance planning, but this year I have it all mapped out in my head (well on paper too, but that is for my eyes only as I don't want a collecitve :rotfl2: from everyone)!!

Awesome! I love going with other people, be it friends or family. When I was a freshman in high school, and my brother was in our school's band that traveled to Disney, my mom and I went with them. We loved sharing all of our knowledge with everyone, and everyone was so shocked and impressed by everything we knew! And yes I've learned a lot from these boards as well- even more prepared for this trip!

Well I'm sorry you're from Cleveland ;) but you have a pretty awesome name (and you spell it right!!!!) so it's all good haha.

On another note-sounds fantabulous and I wish I was going!!

Haha I know so many people who spell "Megan" differently; we're just keeping it sweet and simple! ;)

And ohhhh Cleveland. I'm not sure if you're referring to our recent loss of Lebron James (one of the saddest days ever for me, not gonna lie:sad:), our ranking in quality of cities, or the fact that it's sooo cold here in the winter! But it's not too bad, it just stinks that we're so far away from Disney World! :rotfl2:

Sounds fun ^_^

note for the credit/cash part for your group:lovestruc
I know one place that doesn't take credit is the funnel cake stand at the American pavilion in EPCOT. I only know this b/c I had an craving for it once when a kid went by me with one and I was deeply disappointed when i didn't have cash on me haha

Haha thanks for the tip!:thumbsup2 That's so unfortunate, because those funnel cakes sure are amazing!

Well I'm from Pittsburgh, so I have an ingrained 'hatred' for all things Cleveland. But I also lived there for 2 years and taught in the worst school district in the US. Yeah that was fun. Had my car stolen within the first month of living there. I'm sad about Lebron James too. I got to see him play HS ball and he was amazing then. I think this whole thing is a lot of crud. And yes-it's WAY too friggen cold!!!

Ahh I see. Well I'm sorry to hear about your bad experiences! And yes, Lebron is a major jerk.

Anyways, I actually don't live in the center of Cleveland. I live in a town about 30 miles south of Cleveland. You might have heard of it- it's called Medina. It's a really nice town- great housing, great schools (which have awesome music programs! :thumbsup2); etc. So we're not in the middle of the bad parts of Cleveland. It's just easier to say "Cleveland, OH" than it is "Medina, OH" because people know Cleveland and can picture where it is in the country. But I do love Cleveland (mainly because of the Cavs, which I will continue loving even without Lebron).

LOL I know EXACTLY where Medina is! I have family that used to live there-they now live near Columbus, but I've been there many times-mostly as a kid. I also met a Marine in Okinawa who's from Medina as well!! It's a small world aaaaaaaafter all.

Wow no way! That's awesome! Yea my family loves living in Medina, although I would love to live farther south in the winter! :rotfl2:

bumping to see if anyone else wants to read or comment! :thumbsup2
