the BCV updates made me sad. Our wait list did not come through. I really did not think it would being it is F&W but I was hopeful. Some time I will get there.

Oh my those wonderful beach club pictures.... I sure hope we have a stay there next summer! While we loved the Boardwalk, that pool, the smell in the lobby, and just seeing the pictures make me know there is no place I would rather stay!

Glad you enjoyed some time there, and how totally wonderful your spring break trip at the BC will be!

I hope you get to stay there, too.
And I hope we get to cross paths. Did we talk about our dates overlapping at some point?

One night this summer, Brooklynn and I enjoyed watermelon out there near that campfire. She walked down to get a s'more while I stayed on the sidewalk so as not to get sand in my shoes, and she came back with watermelon. They had a table full of it, and it is my #1 favorite fruit!

Hi, Memom! I'm jumping out of lurkdom to let you know the floaties are called puddle jumpers. We bought ours at Wal-Mart, but I have also seen them in Target and many online. They are awesome!!!

Oh the Beach Club....staying there someday is definitely on my bucket list! It is just so pretty and the atmosphere is so relaxing which is definitely needed after the long days in the parks! I'm glad you all had such a good time there!

As for the menu, I would looooooove an ice cream soda (chocolate please! You can't find them here very often) and a cheeseburger with only ketchup! Delicious!

I'm glad the sun came out for you to meet Dis-friends at MK! Oh and I need to remember to look for that Chef Mickey shopping list notepad! So cute! Infact, I just want all of that kitchen stuff!

Yes, I can hardly be near those bracelets w/o taking a picture. There is something about them that I just love, but I don't wear bracelets, as I don't like anything on my arm or around my neck. If I could find those as earrings, the only jewelry I wear, I would snatch up several pairs. I like them all - different colors for different outfits! I really wish I did wear bracelets

LOL! Yes. That's my inked up foot. I actually have three on my left foot. A Mickey head, the castle, and Minnie's box. On my right ankle, I have Mary Poppins. Just ask MeMom. I'm crazy...

It's interesting. I thought that after getting my foot done the ankle would be a piece of cake. Not so. They all hurt. I don't think the foot hurt any worse...

I am way behind, but will catch up this weekend. We are off to Indiana to visit Brendan and my mom is coming down from Michigan, too, so it should be a good time.

currently has close up castle webcam and a distance EPCOT one. The castle one seems to have about a 5 minute refresh time but the Epcot one is almost continuous and you can watch the fireworks. Watching Illuminations now.

I like sitting out under an umbrella for a few minutes, but walking around taking pictures is much more exciting for me.

Wilderness Lodge is another resort that has a lot of cozy little sitting areas.

They have several different styles of kitchen things for lots of different tastes. I like looking at all of them, and occasionally I will pick up a utensil or a plate or something.

Thank you very much for the good wishes. I haven't had a lot of time to think about the trip, as school has kept me busy. I have one more thing to do on report cards, and then I should be free to forget them!

My packing is finished. Suitcases are in the car. When I leave for school this morning, I won't be coming home until October 14th. Everything looks good on the homefront, and I just need to finish some things on report cards today. Tomorrow is a teacher work day to do report cards, but since I wanted to be gone, I started wrapping mine up last week.

I will check in here before I hit the road to Alabama at the end of the school day. Many of you have gone over to FB and are not on here much any more, so Jill will be putting up FB pictures as we go along. We will see some of you soon!
