Driving onto Disney property!
Beautiful resort.
Back to the movie.
I think Walt's dream did come true. I know I spend my fair share of time talking about Disney World and Disney things.
Here we are.
Checking in.
First picture of Everything Pop. Now the surrealness begins to wear off, and we know we are here.
At check-in, we were told we were in the same building, but not in connecting rooms. We asked if there was anything connecting, and she fixed us up. That was nice, of course, but she said there was nothing indicating we requested connecting rooms. That is frustrating, because we ALWAYS request that, and I don't know how that can just vanish in the computer system. It was okay, though, and we made our way up to the new rooms they gave us in the 80's.
Upon arrival, however, we were hit with the strong odor of smoke, and with Jill pregnant, two little girls, and thirteen days (it was my room) we wanted to see if they could get that smell out. I called the front desk and told them about it, and within minutes they were sending someone up with some cleaning equipment. They gave us new rooms in the 50's, and a room manager came to apologize.
So we left the room with this poster,
and went to the other side of the resort.
We liked this section better - back by the lake.
A little Stacey TV.
In this one, you can notice the new refrigerator.
The girls had been so good all day, and they wanted to swim, so that is what they did.
I took a few minutes to walk over and get some gift shop pictures.
The sun was not shining brightly over the Hippy Dippy Pool.
