I desperately need new pillow, this one's killing my neck! Any recommendations?

About 5 years ago or so, I bought an awesome pillow at Filene's. It was "extra thick" and foam. But I forget the brand and its driving me crazy. I would buy another one again in a second. Since then, I have bought pillows and they are all killing me and I'm in pain in the morning. I'm a side sleeper and nothing is working. Please help with some suggestions and where to buy??

The only thing I can sleep with and not kill my neck is a down pillow. The fluff fills in space to keep my neck supported. You can find a good down pillow most anywhere, but the best price will be at T. J. Maxx

The only one I ever liked was from my chiropractor - it is foam, and it is rounded at the edges so it hugs up against your neck. I don't know the name - sorry! Is there a chiropractor near you? They used to be $30.

No, I don't go to a chiro. Did you buy it from them? Can you buy them at the stores?

Down pillow is the best for me! It keeps my neck/head supported when I lay on my side and conforms to my body so I don't have some painful crick in my neck in the morning.

I just went through some HORRID pain in my neck/top of my back due to my pillow.

I received one of those memory foam pillows for my b-day and after using it for 2 weeks i haven't had any problems. I think my mom bought it at Walmart for $30?

I absolutely hated down and memory foam, but I LOVE my latex foam pillows. I have no brand I recommend but you can buy them at Walmart, JCPenney and Sears. They run about $20-60 not on sale.

I know Costco has or had the memory foam pillows with the carved out head place. I tried one but it was horible for my neck, but they did have them there.

I have a memory foam regular shaped pillow and find that the most comfortable for me. I'm a side sleeper so the shaped memory foam ones are niot comfortable. There are less expensive ones at WalMart and JC Penney or a Tempurpedic at any mattress store that sells the mattresses. I use a Tempurpedic at home and a JC Penney when travelling.

Best pillow I have recently bought can be found at Linens & Things. It runs around $15 (a bargain!) and comes in 3 different "styles" for stomach, side or back sleepers. I can't do down because of allergies and can't find any more of the Comforel pillow I used to use so I was THRILLED to find these. In fact, now everyone in the house has 1 or 2 of their own. Gotta love those 20% off coupons.

I still stick with my suggestion of a down pillow from TJ Maxx! I was just offering up the memory foam, which I hated, since others had good success with it.

We all REALLY like them! I am really picky about my pillow and had the PERFECT pillow in that Comforel one. But we all know pillows don't last forever (even if you pay $60 for one) and I have been searching for close to a year now. Like I mentioned, I can not use a down pillow. I was really surprised to find the LnT pillows and so cheap! After using one for a month, DH got 1. He likes his alot and now the kids each have 2. For $15 it's worth a try.
