I Cut My Hair! I'm getting [Dread] Locs! UPDATED - Pg 39!

I sure wish I could meet "The GMax" in person in ten days, but she keeps scheduling her trips whenever I don't have one.

I'm beginning to get a complex.

Rumor has it that she has been purposely avoiding you.

I know! You've also met my other honorary daughter, Nicole. In other words, you'll have met both my Dis daughters before I do!!!

I know! She pretends to be my friend when we have all those early morning PM sessions. (On the Dis, it's me, Glenda, and CharlestonPrincess awake and posting in the early a.m. The rest of you are smart enough to be asleep!)

But then she doesn't consult with me before she books her trips. Hmmmpppfff!

And she calls me Mom! Is that any way to treat your mama????

Glenda, you certainly make a decision & go with it! Good for you! Like others who've posted, I never knew how dreads were done. I thought you grew the hair long first. Shows what I know! It looks good on you! Has your Mom started to like it at all???? I'm glad your BF likes it. If the a/c bothers you, what about the sun & a/c at WDW? You'll have to buy a cute Disney baseball cap!!!

Good; I will look forward to seeing them. As for the adopting, I'll have to check my finances. I already have three real life children, a granddaughter, another baby on the way (yet to be known if it is a pirate or princess), a spouse and a girlfriend of two of the children, and two lime green daughters...I don't know if I can afford to put anyone else in my will. As it is now, they're all only getting about a buck twenty-five each when I'm gone. If none of you are looking for a big inheritance, then I suppose I could have as many lime green Dis kids as want to join the family. The bigger the better! I always wanted to be Mrs. Walton. Refer to my first description in the original trip report and you'll find that to be true.

I only hope you and Glenda are not the fightin' kind of sisters, because I only let good kids sit at my table.

You have seen enough hidden MeMom pictures to put me all together. And then there was that accidental 'fat pants' picture!

Unfortunately for this teacher, September is nigh unto impossible for a vacation. We're just getting into routines at the start of school. The earliest I can sneak away on a 'sick' day (cough, cough) or two is early October. The trip Jill and Brooklynn and I took last year was absolutely rockin' awesome, so I am hoping that we might be able to do that again next year.

I like the Tink hat. It is very cute.

Let me tell you, the thought of cutting my hair would make my stomach hurt. And my bf was no help, because he doesnt understand why its a big deal since "hair grows back you know". But STRANGELY enough, I have enjoyed the past 2 weeks with my iddy biddy hair! This is by far the MOST exciting thing I've ever done!

If I were you, I would just wear braids. Inbetween, when you take them out, cut off about an inch or two. See if you could do this for about a year, then you'd be ready! Just think, this time next year, you'd be over the hump!

Hey everybody! If I wasnt sooo lazy, I'd post a pic of what my hair looks like now. It's fuzzy and bit smashed to my head. It's been a little over 2 weeks - I'm trying to hold out till the end of the week, so my hair will look super fresh and cute for my trip on Saturday! But I'm sure my co-workers probably think I'm having a nervous break down . . . "Hmmmm have you seen Glenda, you know, the one with the hair? What's going on with her? Is she just gonna LEAVE it like that"?

Hey Everbody! I went to the shop yesterday for a wash and retwist! It only to an hour for the whole thing! I was so glad it didnt take a long time. The shampoo felt really good! She said that none of them came out!

Since I got there early, I had the place to myself. The Loctician who worked on me, was the one who greeted me the first time I went to the shop:

After the shampoo, she retwisted each one, put clips on them and I sat under the dryer for about 20mins. I LOVE it! I can't believe that they are already starting to grow and plump out a little! If I get a chance, I'll post pics before I leave for WDW on SATURDAY!!!!

Heya! While waiting for a load of laundry to finish I thought I'd post some update pics! Tomorrow will be 3 weeks!

I don't know if you can tell by the pics, but my hair is a bit longer, and each loc is a bit thicker! I'm really excited! But, as days go by and the product dries up real good in my hair, they will shrink a little. So My hair will bit a shorter and thicker by the time I'm in Disney in TWO DAYS!!! WOO-HOO!!!!
