Well DISers, it's been a week and a half! So far I do not regret my decision. And I am soooo surprised at the UNSOLICITED compliments I'm getting! Some people have that excited look on their face

while asking, "So, are you gonna let it Loc-Up"? One young lady who is ALWAYS well put together, (hair, mani-pedi, outfits) congradulated me, saying how she'd done it for a few years, and regrets that she cut them off! She even offered to give me tips, and be my personal cheer leader!

I never would've thought she would do it! I told her that I'm not looking forward to the "fuzzy, vagrant" stage. She said that fuzzy was good, because that means it's growing!
Hopefully I can hold out going back to the shop till the day before my trip! Afterall, I'd like to look "fresh" for all of my DISmeets!

Till then, let the fuzziness begin!
Oh my Lord, Glenda!
I'll give you credit for one thing, when you do something you don't mess around. I think it will be perfect for the hot Sept. weather. Just don't burn your noggin'. I'm proud of you for not crying. Actually if I had a good-looking head, like you, I'd shave it. I hate having to style it every day. This is going to be so cool watching it grow out into the dreds!!!
HEY!
I was very proud of myself for not crying, especially when I went home, and when I saw my reflection the next day! HA!
Now about the shape of my head - I had NO IDEA what my head looked like! I figured that if it was a HOT MESS, then I would wear head wraps and hats until my hair grew in!
I plan on posting pics every 3 weeks. Well, with me going to WDW in 10days, I'll post a pic when I get back! Hopefully there would've been a little progress! We'll see . . .
Glad he liked it!
Gotta say, I love it like this photo.
Thank you! I must say, this is my favorite!
