I have this really cute POSTCARD on my fridge with Mickey, arms akimbo, Cinderella Castle for a backdrop ... I put it there because it's really cute and reminded me of my favorite place (blah blah) .... it's been there for a couple of years after I got it in the MAIL .... way before I knew what a "DIS" was .... and WAY before I knew what a CODE was ... or before I had a &$@$# clue! Well, all this talk of codes and postcards of late, I walked over to my fridge, pulled off the magnet and looked at the back of the piece of that postcard. It had a FRIGGIN' code on the back of it!! So this thing, from a year+ ago, has been sitting on my fridge and I could have used it WAY BACK WHEN to get a discounted rate but I had no clue! I could just cry

I feel your pain! I used trash them without ever really reading them, then we went last June on a GA resident code that I lucked up on in our Sunday paper. After that trip we received one in the mail for trips up till what is the "code season" that's going on right now. In teeny tiny print it said "dates of 10/5-...may also be available, call for info" . Well, it took I don't know how many different calls, always on the 407 number, till I actually got a CM willing to actually plug in that pin # for my dates within the "other dates" part. IT worked, I was ecstatic. Of course, then I found this board and discovered a general code that actually worked better for me. SInce that October trip we have made 3 subsequent trips and are going in 3.5 weeks. Know what, I have yet to receive another stinking post card like that, although about once a week I open up the mailbox to an invitation to join DVC!

Thank goodness that I'm not alone! I have an eagle eye now for postcards, etc. DVC - huh? That would be extremely tempting!

It's not any kind of promotioal rate though, just the "come check us out", no free nights or even reduced price or anything.
