I'm SO GLAD that I still get to go with them!! I just know it is going to be SO much fun!! It will be great with Lauren too! I'm lucky to have such great people to vacation with!! You know how I was just NOT feeling all the vacations with my parents, as much as I love 'em! So this is so exhilarating!!

The birthday trip will be great!! I'm very excited. I'm really hoping that Stephanie can make it to that one as well since her birthday is around then too (same as yours!!!!) but she will probably have school. Oh well!! Do you have any fun things planned for your birthday yet? On the 9th, we're having a middle school lock-in at this place that has inflatables and sports fields and laser tag and all sorts of stuff so it is going to be CRAZY!! Then we will probably just watch movies or something like we did for Dillan's birthday on my actual birthday and then maybe go out or something the following weekend! Not sure yet, but we're excited!! Stephanie also just bought her own condo and she should be moving in by the end of the month so we were thinking of combining a house warming thing with her for our birthdays! I wish you lived closer and could come party with middle schoolers and stuff with us!!

Your weekend sounds nice! It is great being "forced" to relax sometimes!! I hope you get to work on your flower beds soon though!! I'm ready for warmth! I definitely think it should be completely DONE snowing by our birthdays!! What movies did you guys get this month? That's awesome! I need to put in a good order soon! I know when we were playing Disney Scene It this past weekend, we were all talking about all the Disney movies we wanted to see!! :rotfl:

Have fun reading my email!! This reply back to you was starting to get as long as that!! :rotfl2:

YAY! All of your trips just sound fantastic! :woohoo: I can't wait to live vicariously through you since there's no telling when we'll be back... That would be so great if Stephanie could come to your bday trip too!! That's so fun that your bdays are so close so that you can party together. :thumbsup2

That laser tag thing sounds like a blast!! I just love laser tag. You'd think I'd like paintball too, but I hate it. I don't want to actually get hurt while I'm shooting people! :scared1: Have you played paintball with the kids yet? I'm sure whatever you plan for your combined bdays will be great!

Nope. I don't have any plans at all yet. I know that Michael is going to plan something for us to do (nothing big, but something :goodvibes), but I have no clue what. But we're leaving that weekend blank in case we decide to do something. I have to work super late at work on the 8th (we're giving tours to all of the people that are coming to the international convention. They open up our home office once a year for people to come and tour, and I'm one of the point people who explains about our dept) so it'll be so nice to relax for the weekend! I'll probably end up seeing my family too. My mom is getting me a massage for my bday, so that's exciting! :woohoo:

I know! The forced relaxation was incredible. I wish we had more weekends like that. This week the weather has been super nice, so maybe I'll get out and work on them Sunday in between morning and night church. I hope it stays pretty from now on!

We got Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!, Flubber, Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros, Remember the Titans, and Cool Runnings. It was a blast from the past! We had so much fun watching them. We still need to watch Remember the Titans and Flubber. Maybe this weekend. We also started re-watching seasons 1 and 2 of The Office. Those old episodes are hilarious! Oh--and did I tell you that we're having a Sunday School party tomorrow and we're having dinner and then watching The Blind Side? I'm so excited! I love that movie.

Haha--I know. These are getting almost as insanely long as the emails. I have to read/reply to those in spurts! :rotfl:

Ya know, I actually like that idea! I've heard awesome things about Beaches & Cream and it seems like many people rave about the Plaza!

Did we want to do both of these or just one? (Oh and did you want to start a ptr for us? I think we should have one!)

Ever since I read in your trippie how you wanted to have your whole bridal party ride on Tower of Terror, I was like I LOVE THIS GIRL!!!!!

:rotfl: That's so funny!! That's totally my vision for my wedding!!

YES!!!! I used an in-room sitter one night on my last trip and it worked out perfectly. You're so right - Who needs Vegas?! It's going to be so much fun!!!

It does sound so fun!! How old do the kids have to be for the kids clubs? Is that more or less expensive?

Thanks love! Tonight I'm going out with the girls to Hooters for some drinks. Definitely looking forward to it!

Hope you had fun...too bad we're all back at work for another week!!

Yeah, Ohana on our first night sounds wonderful to me! We can make an ADR for around 7:30 or so and then that way we have time to eat and then make it out to the Poly beach around 8:30ish for Holiday Wishes at 9:00. (I'm going off of last year's times and assuming that MVMCP will be going on that night) That's exactly what we did last year on our first night (except we did Kona) and it was so magical! We can each enjoy a Lapu Lapu on the beach while the boys play in the sand and the fireworks go off! OH MY GOSH! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT!!! And if there's no party that night, we can go inside the MK and watch them!

Oh my goodness...sounds so perfect!! I can't wait!! That's going to be so fun!!

As far as character meals, I'm totally up for anything. Jake is an early riser, too and I loooove being in the park before it opens! We've done Crystal Palace lunch, Chef Mickey's dinner, Donald's Safari Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare dinner and I had no problems at any of them!

Yay!!!! I'm so glad that you are all for being in the park before it opens!! That'll be perfect. I have some ideas for that lol

Whoo! AP's are AWESOME!
It's a great excuse for more trips I use it all the time

Ohh, I LOVED Hoop Dee Doo when we went in 2008! I loved loved loved loved loved it! It's just a really fun place to eat, there's always something for you to watch and the food is so good. So jealous that you'll be eating there

You are totally right about AP's! I'm definitely excited to know I'll have that "excuse". ;)

HDDR is so great! It was one of my favorites! I'm so excited to go back!!

Unfortunately (times 230348094) December definitely isn't going to happen. Chris and I are trying reeeeally hard to save up because we want to move to Myrtle Beach. It's hard to do that when we've been saving for another Disney trip every 6 months or less (not that I'm complaining!). Anyway, April seems much more realistic than December which is cool with me

I'm determined to see Alice and Chris keeps promising me we'll see it this week/weekend so my fingers are crossed! Montauk is super nice but I would have enjoyed it much more on a nice summer weekend where the streets and hotels weren't filled with drunk 20 somethings through drunk 60 somethings! These people just weren't the kid of people we typically hangout with so I can understand what you mean about the kids from your weekend making it less fun. That's exactly how I felt. Oh and Montauk is about an hour and 15 min drive from my house...except there's only one road out and one road home. So with traffic it could take FOREVERRRR in the summer!

Oh. My. Goodness. Myrtle Beach sounds amazing!! Is it expensive to live there? That's one of the places I've been thinking about going if FL doesn't work out (looking like its not going to :sad2:). How exciting for you though!! I think after my 21st birthday trip, I'm going to stop the trips for a while and just save, save, save!! I'm also going to have my car paid off by then so I'll be able to get more money saved up to move somewhere!!

Did you guys end up seeing Alice this past weekend? Or what did you do? Hope it was good! :goodvibes

i am so glad it seems that things are working out for both of your trips and for a 21st bday at disney-- that would be the perfect bday for you that would be awesome That stinks that you are still getting snow I hope all of our snow is done in PA-- i am praying it is LOL . You are going to have to let us know if you rent points and how that works-- i was talking to my mom today and we might-- rent points and go in dec also we shall see-- i want to get the sept trip planned first-- but i think we would stay at AKL and rent points it seems to be a good deal and people love renting you saw a lot of movies this weekend:) that sounds like fun! I am sorry you didnt like bounty hunter:( I will wait for that to come out on DVD-- I want to see the remember me movie too! Everything is going good my way:) we had very nice weather here this weekend! Thats so exciting you got 3 dresses!! i love shopping!!!

You are right, it would be such a perfect birthday!! I can't wait!! I hope it is done snowing for the both of us!! I'm so over winter!! If you do end up going next December, we should try to meet up!!

Just read a bit of this and I love it! I'm in. I will catch up on the rest later but I just wanted to tell you that you are NOT alone, girl. I will be 20 next month and I could not care less about Twilight, but I am SO SO SO excited for Toy Story 3!!!

Hello!! I'm glad you're over here!! So glad that there is another 20 year old (well next month for both of us! When is your birthday? Mine is April 13th) who would take a space ranger or cowboy over a vampire or werewolf!! :rotfl2:

It's something to think about! I can definitely do a vacation in April. We can't take them during the summer here because that's when we're busy but April would work. Hmmmm....I've been wanting to go on a cruise too so maybe I can combine that with a Disney cruise, especially if they run their travel agent deal...hmmmm. Who can I talk into doing this with me...

Though if the NKOTB have their cruise again next May, I may have to save for that!

Oh man...a cruise sounds very nice too! We will have to definitely seriously discuss this!! That would be so fun!!

You crack me up with your NKOTB!!!

Hey girl. I'm back over here!

YAY!! I've been away from the Dis like all week! I gotta go catch up on your tr!!

YAY! All of your trips just sound fantastic! I can't wait to live vicariously through you since there's no telling when we'll be back... That would be so great if Stephanie could come to your bday trip too!! That's so fun that your bdays are so close so that you can party together.

I'm the same way with you on the whole lasertag/paintball thing. I've never actually played paintball, but that just doesn't look fun to me!!

Sounds like you are still going to continue being so busy!! That's awesome!! And lucky you for getting a massage for your birthday!! That will be so nice!! I bet you'll really enjoy that!! I know I would!!

I love how you got a bunch of old movies to watch! That's awesome! I hope you guys enjoy them all!! How fun that you guys watched the Blind Side with the youth kids! We did that on Saturday night!!:thumbsup2

I want to see this movie so badly!

It's so good!! You need to see it!

AHHHH who can believe it's almost April?!?! I can't!! Here is what April looks like for me!!

Saturday, April 2nd - church Easter egg hunt for Landon, trip to the art museum
Sunday, April 3rd - Easter!
Wednesday, April 7th - Taylor Swift concert
Friday, April 9th - Stephanie's birthday (also staci_kristine's birthday! :goodvibes) and middle school lock-in (overnighter with a bunch of middle school youth kids basically!!)
Tuesday, April 13th - my birthday
Friday, April 16th - Rodney Atkins concert
Friday, April 23rd - High school lock-in

Not to mention that every Wednesday night and Sunday night I have youth group!! I'm going to be so busy but I'm so excited!!

What things do you guys have that's coming up soon? :goodvibes

So I figure it's about time I do a real update about my trip!!

The dates are officially August 3rd through the 10th at Pop Century. We booked using the package that gets you a $300 giftcard if you stay at a value. Since we are all too young to rent a car (you have to be 25 right?), we are going to be using Magical Express!!

We aren't doing any dining plan or anything and plan on pretty much just eating at quick service places. I'm contemplating if we want to have at least one legit, delicious, sit-down meal. But it probably won't happen and I have my awesome December trip anyway for that! :goodvibes It's going to be hard though...I want my deluxe dining plan back! :rotfl2:

We are going to have a day in each of the 4 parks, plus an extra day in MK and a day at Typhoon Lagoon!!

I have a question for all you parents of young children out there...am I understanding correctly that if you use the parent swap, the first people have to go through standby and then the 2nd ones go through the fast pass line? If that's so, we probably won't be using that and will just get fast passes and take turns riding alone! Perhaps we will even use the single rider line!!

I'm just so insanely excited for this trip! It's going to be so different from my last one, but I couldn't be more thrilled! It's my first "real" trip without my parents and its going to be great! I'm also so thrilled to be taking someone for their first trip to the world!! I'm determined to make a lover out of her!!

You can be under 25 to rent a car but then you have to pay an underage renter fee per day. Not worth it!

I need to start a PTR soon...

Aw man, we are just going to miss each other! We'll be leaving July 31st!

I know!! It breaks my heart! I tried to move it up another week, but we just couldn't because of summer camp with the youth kids! :sad2:

You can be under 25 to rent a car but then you have to pay an underage renter fee per day. Not worth it!

I need to start a PTR soon...

Yeah, definitely NOT worth it!

OOOOHH please start one soon!!

Great plans, so far!

Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite of the two waterparks(:

Thanks!! I can't wait for the shark reef!

well, u are suppose to have part of your group go through the line first and they will give you the parent swip when you enter.

there was a few times when i would go up to the guy and get the swap pass, and then take parker over to the side of the standby line, and wait a few minutes by his stroller and the leave and go somewhere else.

we would then leave do something else, then come back and use the swap pass for without waiting for the line, but that can only work, if you have people in your group who dont want to ride the ride, and you have to be smooth about it.

i pulled it off, but i am the smoothest of them all.
:rotfl:

You are going to have so much fun!

April sounds like a busy month for you. It is for us, too! Max & I were talking about our trip being 2 months away, but us being ready to go right now, and I started thinking about everything we'll be doing between now & then and how that will make the time go by so much faster! I think we've got something every weekend until May...and then May will be busy with end of the year school things, plus Allison's birthday. :goodvibes

You're going to have such an amazing time!! What fun. I think you should do at least one nice, sit down meal. Disney dining is so fantastic--I'm sure they'd enjoy at least one table service! :goodvibes

I'm glad to find another 20 y.o. on here too! There aren't many of us ;) I'll be 20 on April 8. Our birthdays are so close!!! party:

Regarding ADRs... when I went in Oct 2008 I barely ate at any TS places, just CS and grabbed F&W fest stuff around Epcot. I did miss all the ADRs but I was so immersed in the rest of the Disney experience, it was fine. I still had to eat at Sci Fi and Boma though - two of my favorites! :wizard:

:hippie:

Did we want to do both of these or just one? (Oh and did you want to start a ptr for us? I think we should have one!)

It's up to you really... because I wouldn't mind doing both! I know Beaches and Cream doesn't take ressies. So that one we'd have to just go over and see if we could get in whenever we wanted to eat there!

And yes, we need a PTR! I can start it if you want me to!

:rotfl: That's so funny!! That's totally my vision for my wedding!!

GIRL! I better be there!!!! :lmao:

It does sound so fun!! How old do the kids have to be for the kids clubs? Is that more or less expensive?

I think the Kids Clubs require the child to be 4 years old... and of course that would be the one that's less expensive!

Hope you had fun...too bad we're all back at work for another week!!

Yeah, I had a good time! Tell me about it... let's hope the week flies by!

Oh my goodness...sounds so perfect!! I can't wait!! That's going to be so fun!!

So, stupid me! There are no MVMCP's are Saturdays! I keep thinking our first night is a Sunday since that's when I normally arrive! We can still watch Wishes from the beach... but if we really want to actually go into the MK we'll be able to!

Yay!!!! I'm so glad that you are all for being in the park before it opens!! That'll be perfect. I have some ideas for that lol

Wooo hoooo! Tell me all of your ideas!!! :thumbsup2

You are totally right about AP's! I'm definitely excited to know I'll have that "excuse". ;)

HDDR is so great! It was one of my favorites! I'm so excited to go back!!

It's going to be GREEEEAAAAAAAAAAT!

Yeah, you are a smooth operator! (Or maybe criminal. Verdict is still out on that one.) That's a good idea though! I will have to keep it in mind!! Nice call!!

You are going to have so much fun!

I know!! We can't wait! I'm glad Stephanie is actually excited as me! I think she will definitely "get" it. We both ordered our customized maps this week! :rotfl:

I know...time is just going to FLY, I can already tell! I don't mind being busy though. It's fun and there's just so much to look forward to!!

You're going to have such an amazing time!! What fun. I think you should do at least one nice, sit down meal. Disney dining is so fantastic--I'm sure they'd enjoy at least one table service! :goodvibes

I completely agree. You know me! I would LOVE to have the deluxe plan again! I'm thinking we may go to Kona Cafe!! I already know you'll like that idea!! What did you get there again? Was it your very favorite or just in the top? I can't remember!

I'm glad to find another 20 y.o. on here too! There aren't many of us ;) I'll be 20 on April 8. Our birthdays are so close!!! party:

That's awesome! April is a great month to be born it! ;)

I'm kind of looking forward to not having to worry about ADRs or anything!! I will miss my food but I will love my time, I'm sure!! :goodvibes

It's up to you really... because I wouldn't mind doing both! I know Beaches and Cream doesn't take ressies. So that one we'd have to just go over and see if we could get in whenever we wanted to eat there!

I would have no problem with doing both!! :goodvibes That sounds good to me!! Definitely start our ptr!! Let me know when its up! :thumbsup2

You will SO be there!!

I think the Kids Clubs require the child to be 4 years old... and of course that would be the one that's less expensive!

Lame!! Oh well...how was the in-room babysitter you used anyway? Even if we don't need it this trip, I'll need it in April for Jellyrolls night! <--thats how I dance. :rotfl: jk...

So, stupid me! There are no MVMCP's are Saturdays! I keep thinking our first night is a Sunday since that's when I normally arrive! We can still watch Wishes from the beach... but if we really want to actually go into the MK we'll be able to!

Oh well! We'll figure it out!! There's so many decisions!! I'm so glad that we'll be AP holders and be able to go into a park for a few hours and not even care!! :cheer2:

We should totally get the boys coordinated for MVMCP when we do end up going!

Yeah, you guys need to start a PTR for that trip!

We're going to so soon!!!! YAY!! We'll post a link over here for sure!

Kimmy your Trip plans sounds awesome:) I would say go for eating at a delicious restaurant at least one night:) I just don't think i could make it a week in dinning without eating at one table service:) LOL and it will be a big difference for you from last trip-- but you have your dec trip also:) thats so exciting!! If they come oout with some good offer i might try a dec trip too:) What dates are you going in Dec again? Thats so exciting:) at least you got your trip booked and dates together for your aug trip!!:) which time flies and it will be here before you know it:)

Yeah, you are a smooth operator! (Or maybe criminal. Verdict is still out on that one.) That's a good idea though! I will have to keep it in mind!! Nice call!!
