OMG! Yes, slightly freaking out..... time is running out.... arrive Sat and depart Tues. Sat will be a no park day....party size- 5.... 2 adults 3 kids. Staying at Park Vue Inn.... (giving it a second chance) DH- does not really like to be rushed to go eat at a certain time... :sad2: which makes planning hard.... i tend to be sneaky and pretend we don't have to be at a certain place at a certain time, even though we do. :rotfl2:
scenerio 1- Sat- would like to eat at Ralph's Brenans... done it before and was great.... but would prolly only do apps and the bread pudding... and then hit up the motel for the free late dinner from 5- 7 and if still hungry- Coldstone while watching fireworks from the roof. Then go to Blue Bayou on Sund afternoon- lunch.... done that too... but kids have not. also celebrating 2 birthdays.... and the rest of the days counter service, like Plaza Inn for chix, WWS- Nachos! and the Paradise Garden area to re-do my meal that they screwed up last time... LOL....
or Scenerio 2- Steakhouse 55- for dinner on sat- also been there already, but not with kids, skip BB on Sun and just do CS the rest of the time and just stop and eat wherever, whenever....
So many ideas.... what would be less stressfull? but still fun and memorable? WWYD? Also might be raining Mon and Tues.... kinda sucks to eat outside if caught in rain...

I should also mention what we would order- we as a family in whole have been trying to cut back on our portion sizes- and even more so with playing at DL. I so hate walking out of a meal so stuffed I just want to fall asleep- literally anywhere.... trying to avoid that feeling this time.
At Ralph's - app for 4 plus the cheese bread and share the bread pudding....
At BB- was thinking Monte Cristo and add the split plate charge- and adult strip loin and add kids strip loin... comes to about 100- pre tip pre tax.
Steakhouse 55- 2 Porterhouses steaks.... split between the 4 of us- and the toddler who hardly eats... :rolleyes1 - add a side- and rough it around 100... pre tip pre tax....
Easily we can split 2 nachos at WWS and the kids can get a personal pizza which the toddler loves... :rolleyes1 and we come out at $30....
Plaza Inn - 2 orders of the fried chicken- $30- would easily feed us all... thats 6 pieces of chix and sides - mind you we have free prolly crap meals at the motel- but enough to fill the kids...
Would like to try the Fried Green tom sand at Hungry Bear.... curious...
After eating Ham all week- no one is really interested in pork to much- meaning the turkey legs- yes they are called turkey legs, but look and taste more like ham... but they are good!
Also wanted to try out Pilots Grill.... never been....
Wanted to also go to WCT- but have not read too many good reviews- we love our pasta and would not want that screwed up- but curious enough to try there Tiramasu... if its the same as in the Picnic Basket For WOC... now that was the best Tiramasu ever hands down!
ok these are just random thoughts- also food budget is $400.

Since you're staying offsite, have you considered eating somewhere like Mimi's or California Pizza Kitchen the first night? It'd probably be cheaper and faster service. Your DH would be happy because you could get away with either with no reservation.

There's a Baker's Square on Harbor south of the resort. Great food and excellent pies! It is also outside of the Disneyland Reality Distortion Field so the prices are normal. The restaurants right by the resort have higher prices.
