My husband wears socks with sandals. He swears it is only because he doesn't like his feet to feel dirty but I know the deep sinister truth is that he is 100% nerd. How could I marry a nerd and not know it? He only wears white socks (doesn't pull them up) with TEVA's. Am I enabling him by making excuses? Is there a 12 step group for this? Friends joke about men who do this and I just smile begrudgingly without admitting the truth. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD HOW DO I GET HIM TO STOP?!?

As you can see, we leave for Disney soon and he just reminded me to pack plenty of socks. Shall I get the kids and have an intervention?

Must admit that I'm a sock and sandal wearer. Mine is necessary though. If I don't wear socks something in Florida (the water, sun, air, I don't know what) makes my feet break out. It never happens at home. My feet always have the nice little sandal strap tan lines, but not after a WDW visit.

I will join you as a wife of a nerd. Except my DH wears those high-top sneakers with argyle (sp?) socks up to his knees. (..hangin my head in shame..) He is an engineer so I suppose they make exceptions for people like him.
